Here's why GEARS OF WAR is the best game so far this gen....COWS BEWARE!

..... all you haters, are still talking about it. If its so horrible or unworthy then why do you feel so threatened by it and feel the need to try and tear it down???? huh??? THe fact that you can't get over it, proves its greatness. I bet you all hate popular music too, cuz its "cool" to listen to music from bands that no one has ever heard of.

Now I know its hard for you COWS to deal with, having the 360 whoopin the PS3's behind in the games department, (visuals & availability of a wide range of great titles)

And you've gotta deal with the fact that you've only got like 3, maybe 4, good games between now and the years end, while 360 owners have 6+ great titles due out b4 the summer is over. See www.ign.com for lists of summer game releases for each console if you doubt me.

Oh and this Killflop2 hype.... lol.... I can't freakin' wait for the review.I'm gonna grin from ear to ear on that fine day. "Dur... we have nothing to look forward to guys.... lets start hyping a sequel to the game that is synonymous with mediocrity, based solely on a target rendering from 2 years ago.... yeah... huh.... huh.... okay..... DUUUURRRRRR!!!!!"

Oh and the day that Halo3 is reviewed, will be another great day for us Lemmings, not just because we get to play an amazing game, but we also get to come to SW and give all the COWS a big.... "HUH? WHAT NOW?...."

As an outsider, and just as a warning, I'd be careful what you expect from any halo3 review, and particularly from this site. from what i hear the game isn't much different from halo2, and they do knock games down to that "unplayable" below 9 threshhold for that sorta thing. even if the fans are all very pleased.

and when i say unplayable, i just mean it'll be called a flop on forums by morons

So true, Gears of war comparisons are kept alive not just by Sony fanboys but by MS fanboys who love to diss any upcoming Sony game with the whole..."It doesnt look better then Gears..." line.

Gears of War is a great game and all, but what does anything in the post have to do with why Gears of War is supposedly the greatest game so far this generation?

How much hype Killzone 2 gets certainly doesn't have anything to do with Gears of War.

MS fanboys hold a title over the heads of Sony fanboys and then you wonder why it gets bashed by Sony fanboys. I hate to tell you but Gears may be fun but it has ALOT of room for improvments. You also need to realize that Geow does not appeal to everyone and not be so sensitive if it gets bashed.

So gears of war is the best game because of the hype, but killzone 2 will be mediocre despite the hype.

The topic creator said that Gears is the best game of the generation. Why haven't you gotten on his case for comparing a TPS to racing games, RPG's, platformers, RTS games, etc? Because he says that Gears is better than all of them.

huh? You are blaming cows for bringing up Gears........if you think it's ok to use it as a weapon against cows why can't the cows in turn use it to hype their games or bash Gears in turn?
