Hermits: CSS vs. TF2... which, in your opinion, is better?

but i like TFC more than both of them. I realllllllly hope that they make a TFC:S because TF2 really sucks.

.... No, TFC really is that good. It's almost 10 years old now and a good number of people still play it. And i'm sure that all of them are waiting for a good sequel, unlike that TF2 trash that they made.

Even though TF2 has better graphics and awesome classes, I still like sources better because of the community. Yes, that's right. There are so many hilarious(Along with stupid) people on Source, and almost everyone is friendly. Then there are all the custom maps, like the zombie mode, and ramp surfing, gun game, etc.

Although I LOVE TF2, Source wins. I can't stop playing Source!

TF2 is terrible competitively but is better pubbing for fun.

CSS utterly destroys it on the competitive side.

Yeah, definitely TF2. :P

But seriously, I love TF2. The game itself is a blast to play, if not just for the funny things that you see in it, whether it's the Medic's reaction to your Pyro's flamethrower, the hilarious taunts, or getting your opponents to run on the railroad track in Well just as the train rams through them. And the game practically survives on teamwork, which I love. Nothing is more pleasing then a well-placed operation that utilizes every part of the team. And there's literally no overpowered class or unfair advantage (unless you include the Soldier's unusually frequent Crit-Rockets). So yeah, for me, TF2 is definitely the superior experience in every way. What it lacks in "teh realism" it makes up in pure fun. That and I had a terrible run in with CSS elitists who refused to believe I had ever played a FPS before because I was asking a lot of questions the first time I played it.

And TFC guys, please accept the fact that time's have changed. I loved TFC, but TF2 offers so much more with the classes actually having some distinction. Competition isn't the only deciding factor in what makes a game good.

Hard to say.

TF2 is all about how well you use the class.

CS:S is all about how well you use the weapons.

Both are fantastic in their own individual rights, though TF2 is more team orientated / focused.

Personally Tribes > both ;)

Agreed, Grenades ruin most Shooters imo ... I gotta laugh at the whining about "No grenades in TF2" quite frankly im glad they are gone.

CS:S

Far more competitive and teamwork is more rewarded in CS at a competitive level. TF2 is incredibly fun, but the stakes are higher in CS and it's a more adrenaline filled experience because of it.

Sick of games like COD4 that allow huge amounts of grenade spamming, and in CS - at choke points it can be terrible.
