Hermits --- Why do you compare PC graphics to Xbox 360 graphics?

I find it funny that hermits will post images of current PC games running on the best possible PC of the moment and compare images to an Xbox 360 title and then say "TLHBO!"  I sure would hope that a PC game running on a $2000-$3000 machine would look better than a game on the $400 Xbox 360. 

Do hermits find themselves superior that their machine that costs 5 or 6 or 7 times more than the 360 can produce better graphics?  If so, then I just don't understand their mentality because hermits can upgrade their graphics card every year and a half while console gamers can't.  Hermits have much more expensive machines that can continually be upgraded, yet they make fun of console graphics for being inferior? 

On a side note....Doom 3 for the Xbox came close to looking as good as Doom 3 on the PC.  If anything, hermits should've been embarrassed by that.  Yeah, Doom 3 came out later on Xbox than the PC version...a whole 8 or 9 months later and running on 2001 architecture.

Every multiplat game on the same engine looks better on PC, with hardware thats around $800...once the price drops in the spring...more like $600

Your don't use your brain sometimes...Many PC cound run Doom3 480i, with no AA or AF...

My PC costed me around $1000 dollars to build 2 years ago.  Since then I've had to upgrade my video card once and upgrade my ram.  Oblivion still looked better than the 360 version.

Lemmings are just as guilty as Hermits, especially when Gears of War was released.

It looks better then a pc running it at minium settings. Not bad for a xbox with 64 megs of Ram.

A PC will do MORE than just play games. It can surf the internet, compile files (In multiple formats such as .zip and .rar), render CGI, image edit, audio edit, play DVDs, play games (As well as ALL other PC games before it with a few tweaks if needed, and emulators for the older consoles), play music, burn CDs and DVDs, act as a TV (With a TV-Tuner card), display resolutions higher than 1080p (Yes, there's HIGHER than 1920x1080), do your taxes, calculate equations, word process, send e-mail, create vector animations, output 5.1 surround sound (With a proper sound card and speakers that support Dolby Digital), mod games, and I'm sure there's MUCH more.

What can a 360 do?

Play 360 games, play Xbox 1 games, play DVDs, play music, and view photos.

Compare 5 uses on a 360 to 20+ uses on a PC.

Console gaming IS inferior. Here's a good example. Take Ghost Recon 1 on the PC, and the port for the Xbox. Notice the lack of precision aiming? Notice the dumbed down AI? Notice that you move slower? This is to compensate for the controller and the lack of the processor in a console being able to process actions any faster than a current PC in the same time frame.

Doom 3 Xbox 1 is the same as PC? PLEASE talk out of your ass more! There are a SUBSTANTIAL amount of extremely low-res textures and models in the Xbox 1 version. On top of that, the lack of proper dynamic lighting (Shadows being casted from your flashlight and the Imp's fireball) is also VERY noticeable when going PC to Xbox 1.

Please talk out of your ass more.

1st of all buddy...I used the word close.  I never once said that Doom 3 looked exactly as good on Xbox as PC...

Not during the time of its release it wasnt. Which came out about the time when a Gforce 6series was a top of the line card i belive.  Its obvious that the game will continue to look better and run smoother on cards that just came out over a 5 year old console.  But during the Xbox lifespan it held its own pretty good unitll its last year.

Exactly which is alwasy important that you look at the idivisual game instead of saying "All games look better" On a certail platform like are previous poster did.

Crysis and what other graphically superior game? Because other then Crysis there is nothing on pc that touches Gears of War.
