Hermits --- Why do you compare PC graphics to Xbox 360 graphics?

Because PC gamers have nothing to flash rather than expensive hardwares. I'm glad I bought a custom MINI-PC that cost $350 with most lowend~midend stuff. Unimpressive 2007 game lineup (except Sparta: Ancient wars) isn't even worth it for gamers of any kind.redneckdouglas

Considering the Xbox was completely underpowered, it looks well on par with a top notch PC. I own the Xbox version and played the PC version and I think they are very comparable. Screens obviously don't do justice but it's worth a shot.

I find it funny that hermits will post images of current PC games running on the best possible PC of the moment and compare images to an Xbox 360 title and then say "TLHBO!"  I sure would hope that a PC game running on a $2000-$3000 machine would look better than a game on the $400 Xbox 360. 

Do hermits find themselves superior that their machine that costs 5 or 6 or 7 times more than the 360 can produce better graphics?  If so, then I just don't understand their mentality because hermits can upgrade their graphics card every year and a half while console gamers can't.  Hermits have much more expensive machines that can continually be upgraded, yet they make fun of console graphics for being inferior? 

On a side note....Doom 3 for the Xbox came close to looking as good as Doom 3 on the PC.  If anything, hermits should've been embarrassed by that.  Yeah, Doom 3 came out later on Xbox than the PC version...a whole 8 or 9 months later and running on 2001 architecture.

ummm...anyways any person who actually knows anything about the subject that the 360 CPU is less powerful than CPUs because it was stripped down just using what is important for games...and there is no way a 7800xt could run Gears of War...UT3 was using four 7900s in quad sli and was still struggling and UT3 doesnt look better than Gears of War..end of topic

There is one thing I really just don't get with some hermits (this doesn't apply to all).

IF you are a hermit that hates the 360, and calls it the satanbox, like the hermit in the 3rd post, then listen up. If you are running a Windows system, or running around telling everyone, "lolz I got Vista, DX10 rulz, pwned! ROXORZ!!!" then why do you bash the 360? Remember, they are made by the same company. You may start saying, ooh, Micro$oft are an evil monopoly, blah blah blah. So why are you running Windows?! Yes, some of you may be clever and have a purely Linux OS, or even a Mac, but most of you will need Windows to play the majority of today's games. Just think about it next time you tell a 360 owner that Microsoft ripped us off, and you hate them. Coz you sirs and madams, are making yourself look like complete and utter idiots.

  You don't need to spend $2000 to $3000 to reach Xbox360 graphics.. If your actually smart youc an do it for as low as $1000 to $1200, then add in the fact that you can do way more things with a PC then just play in a game..  The PC may be superior in that sense but its by far more complicated that many problems can arise and you do not have the split screen fun a console has.. There is a trade off, but if I had a choice I would pick PC.

There is no debate here.  Lemmings still compare the 360 to PC graphics, which is pointless.  You spend 1000 on a PC, but you can do a LOT more on a PC than you can on a 360, and PC is a lot more powerful.  You don't pay extra for nothing.  PC isn't even in the same league as the consoles.AlbertE-
