Good job and making a spreadsheet. But the game selection for PC suck compared to games I can play on consoles, where's the Virtua Fighter 5, Mortal Kombat, Pacman CE, Spiderman Friend or Foe, Halo 3? These are just some of the games that I like to play on video game systems.

That list of AA isgarbageand the guy who wrote it is a hardcore hermit. He counts things like Half Life episodes as individual AA for PC even though the same software is available on 360 and PS3. Unless he fixed it.

Anyway...the PC would still have the most AA's and AAA's.

Well to be fair he wasn't saying exclusives.. He was just saying titles the PC has.. You really can't call it garbage when he really didn't specifiy the boundaries of his list..

Very true on the fighters, but many would argue that the best fighters are not on the next gen consoles but the last gen consoles.. Spidermans Friend or foe thing was that great either, Marvel Ultimate Alliance was a far better beat em up game.. Halo 3 is just another FPS, that many could take its place.. Its by no means head and shoulders above everythign else.. And some one even argue its average.. But for arguments sake, the FPS is odviouslly one of the PC's strong suits.. But to each his own..

I will not argue with you that PC gaming have more FPS, in fact that's what I stated earlier in a previous post. I just think the selection of games is not that great compared to game systems.

Just read the review lists, there are many games on the list that have 0 hype.. Galatic Civilization 2 comes to mind.. Game was never ever talked about.. Or better yet just go tot he PC section of games for best rated in the last 12 months.. You will see really highly rated games that no one talks about..

Yes, but a big reason many console owners don't care about RTSs is because the vast majority of them have sucked, and have had tremendously awkward control schemes. Games like C&C3 have begun to remedy that, but it's far from perfect. Halo Wars and EndWar will continue to evolve and innovate when it comes to a proper console RTS control scheme, which will boost the popularity of the genre on consoles. Especially Halo Wars. The fact that it has the name "Halo" in it means it will automatically be big on the 360, RTS or not, fanboy or not. I guarantee it.

Are you really asking this? Arguing over opinions on games/systems is why System Wars exists. My point is not whether Starcraft is one of the best games ever (I honestly couldn't care less, and I haven't played enough of the game to form a valid opinion, so I defer to the opinion of others who have played more RTS games); my point was to refute the claim that if Starcraft 2 delivers, Hermits have "won the decade". I'm simply pointing out thatone game won't win any system anything, especially since not everyone even cares about said system or said game. Hermits seem to think the world begins and ends with their games, but this simply isn't true.

I was thinking it was gonna be a AA my self.. Though I havn't bought it yet my self, will not for a long time.. Anyways the great thing about the PC is theirquality can raise.. Alot of games are brought down by bugs or optemization or other such forsights.. Such things are completely obliterated with patchs, mods, etc etc.. A game brought down by such things after patchs if re-reviewed could have possibly scored alot higher, who knows.. This is becoming more common in consoles but no where is close or deep as it.. A game that comes to mind is Vampires the Masquerade one of my personal favorite RPG's I have recently played.. It got a 7.8 roughly because of numerous bugs and a few forsights.. This has been pretty much obliterated by patchs both official and unofficial adding immense things about the game.. I can not state how thankful I am for this feature.

If they released an improved version on the PS3 I would buy it, but i can't say I feel like begging for it and I certainly wouldn't want them to spend time on an old game when they could be working on something new :)
