I think NFS Shift on PC looks better than Dirt 2, but Dirt 2 looks amazing on all platforms not just PC. And theres hardly a difference between DX9 Dirt 2 and DX11. http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/pc/2009/12/01/directx-11-performance-first-look-dirt-2/3

Maybe in the bullshots you've been seeing, but Dirt 2 looks better than any racer that will be on this generation of consoles in the forseeable future.

That doesn't change a thing! The Xbox Controller will only be read as a USB Controller!

The environments in DIrt are more exciting than a lot of the sterile looking Forza/GT race tracks. They're more vibrant imo, and are 100% dirtier.

Some Dirt2 DX11 Goodness fresh from my pc :P

Oh and for the X360 buttons most of the multiplats I have on the PC will recognize the 360 controller and the interface to 360 buttons.

TC, do you have a PS3?....if so go to one of the Best Buys in your area and see if they still have Motorstorm PR for sale at $19.99.... I'm not here to say if it looks better than DX11's version of Dirt 2...... I like the water in this pic ^ but besides that I'm sure I would appreciate this game's graphics alot better if I saw it running in motion.....(I thought the PS3 demo looked great in motion, so I can only imagine the DX11 version)

but I'm just here to tell you that if you love off road racing...or just racing games in general and if you are a graphics whore like myself, you'll love Motorstorm PR as well. Playing it on my 1080p 120hz screen....it is just one of the most beautiful games I have played this gen....so many colors and just different lush environments, along with different morning/day/evening settings......

also it has 4player splitscreen which runs smooth with no slowdown...and the graphics still look great.....

*important* don't judge the game based off the demo they released, I think anyone who owns the game can tell you it looks drastically better.

Dirt2 looks very good technicly but definitly not realistic. Besides the console version look just as good as on those TC pics (i understand than on pc in higher res the picture will be sharper). Anyway...

I like the look of PGR4, GT5, FM3 and Shift more than Dirt2
