Hey RTS fans, which RTS game do you think is better than the rest?

What about World in Conflict? From what I've read/heard, I thought it was the end-all, be-all in RTS games? I noticed that nobody mentioned it in this post yet, is there a reason?testament1

C@C is the very definition of over-rated imo.

Eh, no game is as overrated as SC. I never liked the C&C universe as much as I liked RA and Generals, but SC is usually given the throne as best RTS when it's not that great. The game is all about rushing. In RA you can rush or take your time. I like the option. All online games for SC invole, HOLY CRAP GOTTA MAKE ABOUT 100 ZERG TO RUSH TEH PROTOSS!

If by 100 you mean 6?

I just got command and conquer 3 with my new Pc. I'm having soo much fun with it :)

I used to really like the Red alerts...But I tried playing Yuri's revenege yesterday, and I'd lost that feeling :(

I am sorrt but rushing is only one espect of the game. Hell I turtle more than anything. Each and every race plays out very differently. The way you go about it, it would seem you would easily get pwned by a legit SC player.

It all comes down to personal preference which one you like better. One would say this and the other would say that.... Kev_Unreal

I like others but those are my favourites

Homeworld, Total War (though not a true RTS), Starcraft, Age of Empires, there are just too many to point out...
