i love the way people try average out the score on games. its stupid.

simple a. u dont buy EVERY GAME for what console u want.

b. i can guarantee u most people only play the good games and i would highly doub the average gamer plays more than 4 or 5 games over a long period of time, them being the best 4 or 5 games.

just because ps3 has more less bad games doenst make it better.

Averaging total scores is stupid. You only compare the best no the worst. Now if gaming forced you to buy and play every then okay it would be a valid point.

But anybody who compares the amount of bad games a platform has is really reaching. You should only be comparing the good games or the lack of good games a platform has.

okay, first off, i just want to say I own a PS3 and a Wii... but for some reason im starting to get annoyed by all these recent sheeps bashing the PS3 and saying it has horrible games.

However, guess what? You think the Wii has such amazing games, I did a tally and averaged out the score for PS3 and Wii games and guess who won? The PS3

Averages are misleading, since they are dragged down by the crap games that NO ONE IS FORCED TO BUY. The Wii, have a disproportionately large number of those, would have a disproportionately skewed average.

It's like 2 students. One that does good enough constantly and one that does extremely well on one test and poorly on most!

Obviously the student with the constant good grades will graduate with a better average than the student with the few very good grades and lots of bad grades.

Bad analogy. A student can't pick and choose their grades. A gamer CAN pick and choose which games they buy. Since no Wii owner is forced to buy any of the crapware, what do they care?
