Why do people attack other gamers so much?

If someone wants to spends 1000++++ on high end pc to play at 1440p ultrawide 120fps let them do it.

If on the other hand a pc gamers rather use gtx1080 to play 4k 30fps on some games well..why not?

If console gamer spend 399 for a ps4 pro to play 1440p tp 1800p dynamic upscaled to 4k with hdr let them do it.

If an xbox one s player is happy with an xbox one s for 250 that reads 4k movies and plays 1080p upscaled to 4k with hdr its their choice...

Im so tired of console and pc wars honestly If you want to play on nintendo 3ds its fine.

I don't hate the Switch as much as I am angry with Nintendo for trying to sell me the home console equivalent of what I already have with no forward or backward game functionality when Switch games clearly are of Wii U development standards and functionality.

I have been playing alot of pc games its gets boring after 3 years of using PC. also pc moniter messed up my eyes so bad i look uglier now (thanks to pc)

PC is not good for health

Also many pc users have mentall problems, family problems

Now i am into consoles

These days, there are lots of insecure gamers out there who feel the need to justify their console of choice while simultaneously bashing on other systems and it's player base. It didn't always used to be like this. I remember the days when the only thing we bashed on were bad games. We welcomed new hardware, regardless who made it. We were always in awe of what was coming next and we celebrated it amongst eachother. We were completely loyal to our industry and everyone in it.

Remember when outside parties tried to tell us that Mortal Kombat was too bloody for us to play? What about when they told us that games like Wolfenstein and DOOM would inspire violence among it's players? Who here remembers all the controversy surrounding Grand Theft Auto 3? As gamers, we were under siege so many times, yet through it all, we stood by our fellow gamers and the companies we supported.

And then somewhere down the line, it all changed.

These days, those iconic companies that helped shaped our industry are now under siege by the gamers themselves. Some of them are being jabbed at to leave their places in the industry and go third party. Nowadays, it's Players who are fighting with other players over what games are suitable to play. Today, Megahertz, Clock speeds, Frame Rates and Display resolutions are now more important to players than the actual quality/review scores of a game. Innovation is becoming endangered in our industry and depending on what your console of choice is, you may harassing or being harassed by someone else over it.

This isn't how it's supposed to be.

What happened, guys? Where did it all go wrong?

Currently I own them all.

Pc can be smooth in 120 or 144fps on ultta wide 1440p or have better image quality at 4k 30 fps using flagship gpu's.

Ps4 for such low price can deliver 1400-1800p upscaled dynamically to 4k that looks somewhat close to 4k still pc can look better but for a much higher price.

And xbox one s on some titles like gears 4 and forza horizon 3 on 4k uhd hdr tv looks pretty amazing too. (of course pc and ps4 pro look better but that doesnt mean xbox one s is bad. Because it is trully nice.

Just buy wathever you guys want and ignore the haters.
