Holy addiction Batman!, Dragon Age is good

I could not stop playing this game this weekend for my life. Not the prettiest game ever, but definitely one of the best games of the year. Im not comparing it to Demons Souls either, because they are like night and day different.

I LOVED demon's souls and everything but Dragon age is a true RPG which in turn takes the cake for me. If Demon's souls had more of a story and RPG elements, it would def be my fav.

It's a pretty good game, but I haven't really got addicted to it. I think because the story in the first few hours of the game is really weak.. it never drew me in. I was instantly drawn into Mass Effect and played the HELL out of that game, and now when I play Dragon Age it just makes me think I should be playing Baldur's Gate or Mass Effect instead.

The controls work great IMO for the console. The inventory isn't nearly as annoying as Keven V made it out to be.xsubtownerx

Cannot believe how good it is compared to what I was expecting, to be honest.

Saying that Borderlands is eating up more of my time so far, as its terribly, terribly addictive.

PC of course. Playing on Normal, but the game is not easy. Redcliffe gave me a real hard time, since I dont have a healer, and pretty much have three warriors lol. I need to pick up some new characters.h575309

Mass Effect was fine on consoles and so is Dragon Age.

I play DA at my friend's house on his PC, controls are by far superior but it's not like the game is unplayable with a controller.

First option for anyone should be PC if they can but if you're like me and all you have is a horrible laptop that can barely run Counter Strike, console isn't a bad alternative at all to the GOTY. :D

The quick bar on PC has alot more than that (maybe 14?) and thats not enough! blue_hazy_basic

BTW, where can you find enchantable weaps? I cant find any good weaps except for purchases (this may also be due to me not being able to open damn chests because I dont have a rogue)h575309

Dragon age is one of the best RPG...If i had time i would have played this game for over 10 hrs a day..

Plus I had been playing for like 8 hours straight and it put me in this weird realm of blurriness. but like i said, the rewards you get for exploring make WELL WORTH the effort.
