Yes, best RPG of this generation, easily. Even better than The Witcher: EE. And Jandurin loves it? :o Happy to hear that! Dragon Age is godly gaming at its finest.

Well... if you made the deal with her (for the grimoire), she says very clearly that you and her will never meet again. I wonder if that's true? it may be that you HAVE to fight her before you get the grimoire, which means you'd have to wait for near end-game levels to go back to her hut as Morrigan requests

havn't accepted the deal, still waiting for the end levels to try and defeat her. WIll do everything that time, like getting high fire protection and all. Will you try to fight her later or accepted the deal :P
though I plan to do it eventually
I finished it, stunning start :DJandurinyeah, definitely! what are you? I chose dwarf noble warrior for my first time through. Gonna do human rogue and elf mage as well later on. Before I started playing I the intros for a Human Male Noble warrior, a Female Elf Rogue and Female Elf Mage. All of them were great (esp the rogue) but went with the mage as I wanted to see where the story went (although it was maybe the weakest of the 3). In general not a fan of dwarves but will have to see it too now!
Any game where I get to level and destroy dragons and has meaningful realistic NPCs gets the great game nod from me. Seriously, Leliana and Morrigan are top notch writing, and shale is cool. Alistair is too "i'm hiding my emotions with my humorous chatter" and Sten is too "hi, i'm super stolid and i hate teh mages". I just met kevran. Sure I'll meet more characters. And Jandurin loves it? :o
or accepted the deal :P
naval
I just accepted the deal. I want Morrigan to teach me that damn shapechanger crap ASAP so I can start ignoring whether she likes me or not :P
I got that without the deal, just listened to her story and everything and gave here few gifts :)
Met Sten, but could not acquire him. You must not be running through the main quest at first if your finding all these people. I went to redcliffe first, and now in Denerim, but havent met anyone new :(And Jandurin loves it? :o

Talking to him and trying to get him a friendly approval however, that's a different story. I went dual weapons, they're pretty good if only using both didn't mean losing the ability to critical though the extra damage is nice if you've got a good pair going.
BTW, where can you find enchantable weaps? I cant find any good weaps except for purchases (this may also be due to me not being able to open damn chests because I dont have a rogue)Janduringo to your party camp. the small slow child (with the dwarf dude) can enchant weapons if you have the proper runes. Enchantments? ENCHANTMENTS!!!
You do know you can have two different weapon types equipped right? >.>JandurinI have never liked the dual weapon approach in these games. Too many negatives, not enough positives, and (in this game) requires far too much dexterity. I always prefer dual wielding. :) Its a more aggressive, therefore more risky, type of fighting style. But thats the great thing about the game, you can go whichever way you want to go!

See the PC in my signature? I'm playing Dragon Age at very high and 1600x1200. It's doesn't take a $300 PC to run this.
