[QUOTE="KiZZo1"]Probably mouse and keyboard. Batman: AA played pretty well with it. This. Only consolites claim OMG THIS GAME NEED TEH CONTROLLERZZ!! And if you really want, plug one in. :D Same cannot be said for FPS and consoles. :lol:BTW, hermits, what input method will you use on the holy definitive version?

[QUOTE="KiZZo1"]Probably M/KB. Why? Do u think it's be a problem for me? Cause uhmm, I was able to beat Arkham Asylum on the hardest difficulty with it quite easily. =)BTW, hermits, what input method will you use on the holy definitive version?

They did an amazing job ont he mouse & keyboard controls on Arkham Asylum.
Combat wassimply a lot better with mouse and keyboard vs controller.
The only issue were those 2 or 3 momements in the game where they took away camera control from you.
In those moments the keybaord fared poorly. They were still beatable, but it wasn't optimal.
The keyboard needs the mouse controlling the camera to create a rich movement scheme. Without it, the digitla nature rears it's ugly head.
Hopefully we won't see that happen in Arkham City.

I beat Super Meat Boy with a keyboard. Doesn't change the fact that games designed for pad play better with a pad.

Um I tried it with both the 360 controller and the keyboard and mouse, and thought KB/M was better. I'll take switching gadgets more quickly and aiming better over the controller being better for the 3% of the time that I couldn't control the view of the game.Probably M/KB. Why? That's nice. It was also designed with DX11 and PhysX on PC. That won't stop you from looking at the console version now will it? ;) Fact remains the control scheme on PC is still very easy to use and that's all that matters is that the control scheme works. That said... if I had such an issue with it, i'd just go buy a gamepad for PC, so you can stop acting like the PC version doesn't have that capability now. But I don't have a issue with the M/KB controls at all so yea.my mouse and keyboard, like I did in Arkham AsylumBTW, hermits, what input method will you use on the holy definitive version?

[QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"][QUOTE="Deathtransit"] My monitor is an old cathode tube, my plasma is 720p.lowe0Why don't you just hook up the PC to your TV then? Most Video cards have HDMI now. It's a 720p TV, which PC gamers have already dismissed as an unbearably horrible resolution. So he's still going to take crap from you guys anyway. Why bother? well considering the fact that most "720p" console games don't even run at 720p (halo 3 for example, runs at 540p) he'll still get better results from a gaming PC. not to mention the incredible framerates he'll get at that resolution even with mid level cards.
i learned from this thread, that the only thing more annoying than a console gamer who refused to admit that PC is superior to console gaming in every way other than cost, is a spec whore PC gamer that lives to squeeze out an extra 7FPS out of a game that isn't even really that fun instead of just enjoying games that ARE fun.

Where did I say PC hasn't got that capability?

How do people not know this?

There's nothing wrong with increasing the fidelity on a low resolution screen, if anything it'll improve the frame rate. Oh, I agree with you; I'm just bringing it up to make a point.
What is that point if I may ask? Seems like alot of generalization. I have a 720p hdtv and enjoy playing games at 1366x768 which is a resolution for most 720p hdtvs (If I may add is higher then 90% of any console game in the base case)

That 720p isn't unbearably horrible; otherwise, why even suggest it? And once that's established, what other parts of the console experience that are described was such aren't actually all that bad after all?played Batman AA on console and PC, well the graphic itself is identical, but the physics part really does add extra atmosphere and visual candy throughout(by ALOT) an extra 0.5+ in my book definitelypcps360Graphics are identical in Batman AA! You sure? I played it at 1600p, max AA, max graphic settings, over 60fps etc.. As oppose to 720p with medium settings etc.
I think it makes a big difference, looks a lot more alive. I'm actually pondering getting it for PS3 so I can lend it to friends, but were I a lucky nvidia owner this would propably make me lean for the PC version.ManicAceMakes me consider getting a 560 ti

Batman: AC isn't fun? 720p with tessellation and physx still looks and runs better than the console versions.
Besides, there's a lot more to gaming on PC than just the graphics. Exclusives are a huge reason? Like horror games? Well the best horror game ever made is only on PC - Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Like FPS games? Some of the best FPS games exist only on the PC. And other things like that.
Honestly doesn't look worth it to me. A delay for minor details on some cards. I still don't see why this couldn't be patched - but this generation is so graphics focused the developers would have likely been ostricized.

did you not read? Its alot more than minor details, the entire game is being lovingly laced with DX11 tesselation and other effects. The entire game on the PC in comparison to the console version is going to be mindblowing and make the console version look like a muddy, blurry, jaggy, generic rippoff of the pc version. We are talking about a HUGE difference, not a small one.

Sounds like minor details to me. Major would be adding new modes or gameplay features.
God help me if the AI is as braindead as it was in AA and all the boss fights are pathetically easy. Graphics be damned - tesselation and cloud effects are honestly not worth anything to me.

You say minor, I say major. I will for sure enjoy it more due to it not being a blurry mess due to poor resolution ala console version. You say minor, I say major. I will for sure enjoy it more due to it not being a blurry mess due to poor resolution ala console version. millerlight89
Fair enough. I never attempted to force my opinion - all my claims have pretty much ended with something along the lines of "to me". Just voicing my disdain for current trend of focusing on graphics at the expense of other critical areas of the game. I'm sure the game will be great regardless.
