Been playing for a few hours now, this game is so damn good. Who else is playing this and on what system?

@n64dd: Awesome to hear dude!
On LIRR with my X1S, Deus ex is already delivered, thank you MS store.
*Alice cooper* schools out...........for summer!!! (13 days, but I'll take t!)
Only played the first hour or so yesterday at midnight and so far I like the vibe I'm getting, first mission starts out strong and I like the fact that they had that 12 min recap video. Going to play a lot more tonight, got the XOne version and it looks great, first area in Dubai was nice and so far this game feels like a blockbuster.
Hopefully the story keeps me interested, I loved Human Revolution.... this kind of gritty sci-fi setting is probably one of my favorites and they don't come out often enough.
I guess I could mention 1 minor thing is that the musical score, so far, did not impact me like Human Rev first did.,...it felt slightly too low key, I don't know...maybe I was too tired yesterday and I only played a little, so not a biggie so far. Controls are good and I like how they give you different scheme options. Can't wait to play more later!
Yeah man, Just got out of the tutorial mission and am bopping about in Prague. Love how smooth and intuitive the gameplay is. The execution of the story isn't as dumb as I feared it would be as well. Glad I copped this joint.
same here . Finished the 1st main mission and started a side mission and i really like the game so far. Playing on a rather modest pc ( i5 4440 and r9 380 ) and the game runs really good at high settings ( around 50fps ). A bonus is all the graphics and gameplay options you have ( such as hiding health bars, resizing hud UI etc ). Great game and good pc port
A minor issue is mouse acceleration but other than that enjoying it quite a bit
Cool beans....Bioware has congratulated EidosMontreal via Twitter:
Congrats to @EidosMontreal on the release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Can't wait to augment our game collection with it.

Been on it for an hour and half and totally agree. It draws any fan of HR right in. The recap vid was cool, no battery cells is pure win.
Sound track isn't standing out like HR did, you're right.

Didn't you hear? If members of the industry do that its pathetic and fake LOL
Played about an hour of it yesterday... so far I'm definitely digging it. Hopefully the story is as good as Human Revolution.
Mine is being shipped from the UK. Only way to get physical copies of Square Enix games on PC these days. Was only $46 including shipping. Will be here sometime this week. Replaying Human Revolution in the meantime and playing Deus Ex GO (actually a decent puzzle game).
I hear you. There's so many games to play out right now. I don't even mind if they delay a lot of games until next year.
@superflyzero: Are you a masochist? 900p and dips to 20fps?
They look and run virtually the same on both consoles, and I like the Xbox One controller more.

So do I. (have an Elite Controller).
Isn't it fantastic? best controller I've ever owned, surprised sony has not jumped on that cash cow.
as for the game, both consoles have dips to 20 FPS.. PS4 has the hand in resolution but it's not a massive gap.

I'm playing it on ps4.
I will be playing it soon. steam reviewers are so negative where everyone complain about performance issue. hopefully it will be updated sooner than later.

Played it for 79 minutes and I did not encounter a single crash. Playing on an Alienware 15 970M. FPS performance for me though was wild with hiccups while there were sections that were smooth. Opening up the map or the menu seems to take time. I checked my drive and it's so fragmented including most of Deus Ex files so I'm currently defragmenting. I believe it will make the slow-downs disappear. My issue is the mouse acceleration within the game. Accessing the menu posed no problem but when playing it doesn't feel 1:1 to me like an FPS and it really felt weird. I had to drag mouse sensitivity down and it didn't 100% fix the problem.
I was going to get it on PC, but I'll hold off for a while.
I really need to start finishing my games before buying even more.
I've been ignoring it because I didn't like Human Revolution and I didn't connect with the hype of that game in any way. And I'm self-aware the same thing can happen again here, which is why I told myself I'll skip on it, yet I feel compelled to play it anyways, probably will regardless if I get it down the line. just to see if it's still worth its hype. Tempting to do even now, but I really should save my money for the onslaught of releases ahead.
I love regional steam prices. Bought the game for around 45-ish bucks and I can't wait to play the game. Sad that I'd only get to play the game on the weekends. And as per seeing TB's video, it seems well optimized for the PC platform.
The game looks so damn good. I'm impressed by the visuals and i'm only running it on an overclocked 970+overclocked 2500k. The game does not disappoint that's for sure. This, Doom and soon to be Divinity 2 are THE games to play on pc this year.
@silversix_: How's your performance? Any good?
This is what i'm currently tweaking. Shadows set to High instead of Very High, Contact Hardening Shadows set to On instead of Ultra and Volumetric Lighting set to On instead of Ultra will get you 56+ fps on my setup. Chromatic aberration, depth of field and motion blur are also Off but these three are always off in my games, no matter the performance. Everything else is maxed and in 1080p. Since textures quality set to Ultra need over 4gb of ddr5, i'm testing the difference between Ultra, Very High and High to see if there's any major differences, don't want any stutter.
How is this game compared to Human Revolution anyway?
its like HR but improved on everything possible. a must own if you enjoyed HR even a little bit.

Turn off contact hardening shadows if you're having framerate issues. apparently that and MSAA are what's mainly killing performance for people.

hmmm. basically best Deus Ex since Original. Am i right?

MSAA for sure but contact hardening shadows can but turned On, just not set to Ultra (gained like 8fps from 'Ultra' to simply 'On').
@silversix_: Hmm, so performance is okay for the most part. Can't wait to play it. Thanks for the heads up!

I missed the original when it came out. when i played it, it was way outdated and i did not enjoy it as much as i should have.
