It's offical. The Wii U is da bomb.

[QUOTE="fernandmondego_"][QUOTE="TheWalkingGhost"]NPD doesn't release official numbers to the public anymore. All articles have only suggested that Wii U's sales are within a set range. No solid numbers have been announced.TheWalkingGhostReally? That's the straw you are grasping for? I suspected you were an idiot, this confirmed it. Only an idiot would cry strawman on obvious fact. Which what I stated was.You should just claim that the US market is irrelevant like EA. I'll leave you to your delusions in your little bubble of denial.
To put that in context, no current gen console has sold that few units in a month it has been on sale. Ever. dercooNo, but a handheld has. ;)
and thats probably what you said about the vita when 3ds was doing the wiiu thing , didnt happen did it ,Oh man oh man, Sony is going to make a killing this gen. It's gonna be just like old times, eh Sony? Playstation is once again gonna be slaying the competition just like back in the PS1 and PS2 days and I'm gonna be laughing and laughing as I play my AAAA PS4 exclusives!

Do you know where you are? People declared the PS3 dead just as fast. FYI, PS3 didn't have trophies when it launched either. No, but a handheld has. ;)That's right. The N Gage sold pretty badly. So did the Virtual Boy! :o[QUOTE="DarkLink77"]

When Nintendo does well in sales "Bu...bu...bu teh sales no matter!"

Ahhhhhhh SW......can't beat it

Needs a price drop & some free downloadable games.
And some attractive bundles like Deluxe set with NSMBU & Nintendo Land or Deluxe with Batman & Black Ops.
Jackboot343
Needs to just be scrapped. Nintendo needs to go back to the drawing board and give gamers what they want...games including third-party titles that Wii U's hardware will be incapable of running
Okay, why is it that we get on Nintendo's ass for alienating consumers and yet, bring up ideas that would end up doing the same?I remember them making fun of "locked content dlc" and all of a sudden when games like Fire Emblem do it it's "STOP BEING GREEDY the developers earned that money"When Nintendo does well in sales "Bu...bu...bu teh sales no matter!"

I agree. Of course we're actually going to have to SEE the 4 and the 720, but this next gen is setting up very nicely for Sony. Intelligent Systems was thinking of doing that but Iwata said we can't do that the game has to be complete before we start on the DLC.

All the dlc content was out far before US release. It isn't like there was much to translate for the US game since it has a couple lines and virtually zero voiced dialogue per map. I wouldn't have much problem with the dlc if they at least put some effort into the models for the old characters who are basically just other characters with hair and armor color similar to the games they appeared in.I remember them making fun of "locked content dlc" and all of a sudden when games like Fire Emblem do it it's "STOP BEING GREEDY the developers earned that money"All the DLC for Fire Emblem was made after the game was completed. Doesn't surprise me with the weak library, it really needs some big games as soon as possible.
Chrome-
I know.
Nintendo needs to stop focusing so much on the 3DS and start releasing games on the WiiU ASAP.
They are a Japanese company and Handhelds are huge in Japan so that is probably why they are focusing more on 3DS.
But they are still focusing on Wii U they left a gap for 3rd Parties to fill but they either delayed or cancelled their Wii U projects.
Everytime a Nintendo console has a drought it is always Nintendo leaving room for 3rd Parties to release their games without competition and the 3rd parties always fail to support it.
A little late to the party, but yeah, the Wii U is tanking. By the numbers, Nintendo hasn't even sold out of the initial launch units yet which was 3.5 million shipped to retail or so. Either way, it sure seems like people are content on just getting the 360 which already has a huge gaming library, compared to the buying a new system that may or may not make it when the new PS and XBOX come out later this year or early next year.
Only time will tell. Until then, stop the doomsday stuff. It's going to make you look ridiculous again if there's a 3DS repeat.

I created this out of surprise, not dooms day.
I've been following the Wii U passively and this article just made my jaw drop.
The last time I was this surprised at the Wii U was at Thanksgiving when none of my younger cousins, who were active young gamers, had absolutly no idea nintedo was releasing a new console.
