Home.. Im getting very angry!! Does anyone even care anymore? lets be honest

I own a 360 and PS3 and I admit that when Home was first announced a year or 2 ago I was one of those that was super hyped about it and even thought it would end Xbox live's dominance in the online gaming world. I was a very very big supporter of Home and even up to a couple months ago I was telling everyone to stop complaining about the delays because it will be well well worth it, but now thats changed.. Ive been patient long enough with Sony and the way they have handled the Home roll out is a complete disaster.

I mean lets reflect on this for a second, Home was announced over 1 year ago not only that but it was promised to be out that same year by no later than Holiday of 07, well look where we are now.. Holiday of 2008, 1 year later and not only do we not have Home, we dont even STILL have a release date for it? really sony? I mean think about this for a second.. Home was announced and PROMISED to arrive by end of last year, its been literally one year later and not EVEN A RELEASE DATE HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED!  i mean sure we have a beta and God only knows what the requirements are to get in that Beta, first it was being a annual Qore subscriber then it was being a PSU member, then it was based on how much you purchase of the PSN store and THEN it was based on how much you game online to determine if you could just get into the beta!!

I mean come on!  What really drove me to think this way was how amazing Xbox has been in handling the new Xbox experience roll out, I mean if you think about it the new xbox experience is more complex then Home is and they are releasing it right on schedule. I mean with this new Xbox update is completly changing the whole interface, home is just a downloadable app.  The bottom line is this, this is not fanboy talk.. this is mad sony loyal customer talk that keeps getting the run around on Home and its supposed release date. 

LOL...well, I own both. Someone stated that it would be released the same date as the NXE. As you state, it is not official. You made a very interesting point that I realized when E3 passed and the announcement came about the NXE. Your right, Its not just an app, Its like they did the entire thing over. If it does drop the same date as NXE it will be the end of your fustration. I really didnt get hype about home because I purchased my PS3 after E3....but for those who have waited for over a year. I really hope its worth it. IMO...its funny as heck. 

I thought they said October of this year a long time ago, shouldn't they be done testing it already? It looked almost finished from the latest update.

I know. I WILL try to use it though, If its trash...and I do expect it to be trash/hot garbage/rotten cabbage...I will just Ignore it like Folding @ Home. I tried to use it....now it just sits, whats the use?

I figured I would mess around with it for a while once it released, but its been this long and it still isn't out...

As much fun it would be to rub it in, I feel real bad for cows that were promised so much, and Sony just shat on their faces.Theres no chance of it coming out around the time NXE goes online because that rolls out next week. It's not an app you can chose to turn on, you pretty much are forced to use it, but its user friendly and doesn't get in your way.

I get the same feeling from Home as I did LBP. Like a year ago everyone was so hyped about LBP and everyone said "Oh man I'm getting that on day one. Its a must have' , then as the release date got closer everyone was saying , ' Yeah i'm not that interested in LBP, I never was.' And the numbers show. It is selling well but not like everyone said it would a year ago. It's the same feeling with Home. It's sad, and I feel real bad for cows. All I can say is "just wait".

More like a little under 2 years... it was announced a year and 9 months ago about.

 QFT. I am happy with XBL and even happier with what is to come for XBL. I stopped trying to stay excited for PSN (I have both), barely play my PS3 at all anymore, so I don't care much at all. 

Home... I seem to remember hearing something about it.  It's been so long I can't remember what it is...? :lol:

It'll be cool when/if it ever comes out.

Meh, i honestly don't care for Home anymore. To tell the truth, i never really cared about it.

Let them release it whenever they want.
