Its no secret home sucked. It was a poor concept to begin with, due to its half arsed intergration into the playstation network - which well has been a fault of PSN for a long time. To be honest (the lack of seamless online intergration (which has improved substantially) makes something like home even more problematic. There is a huge scope of things that could of been done with home. But it stands as a poorly executed concept. Sure its free; doesn't mean it has a shield from negative critism.

I humbly agree. :P Home was made to give Sony easy money and some people buy those stuff in Home so it's good for Sony(just saying..) As long as I don't have to pay-to-play then I'm away of harm's way.

Home isn't destroying any competition. The nearest thing it has to 'competition' is Second Life - which well, simply obliterates it as far as virtual space social networking goes. The NXE is just an interface, Avatars are just avatars - nothing more than an elaborate ,3D, animated display picture.
