Honestly, MS is just pissing me off more and more...

This is why I am not getting a 360. Oh I would like to have one, but I am not willing to risk it. This is the only thing keeping me from getting one. I usually get two consoles a gen, but I think I may be stuck just getting a PS3.l-_-l

the falcon chip has been confirmed in the new 360's so your wasting time with your ps3 when you could be playing the best console on the market....

that seems a bit extreme, its not like you have to buy a new 360, it takes about two weeks for them to send you box, then you send them the 360 and they send it back to you. in those two weeks you could probably play your ps3 and then get back to playing Mass Effect when your 360 gets back.

and if it happens again your still covered for three years for this to be the ONLY reason as you say for you not getting a 360 just seems kinda strange to me at least.

Why would you deprive yourself of games based purely on the risk that your console MAY break at some point in it's lifetime and you'd have to be without it for a week? :?

I never had the RROD, my 360 just kept freezing.

I bought the PRP from BestBuy, for this exact reason. Sure, I had to shell out an extra $50 or something, but atleast I didn't have to send my 360 back, pay for repairs (since it wasn't RROD its not covered on warranty) and then get my 360 back a month later after constantly calling them and hearing BS after BS.

I suggest you buy replacement plans from the stores, unless your an online shopper I don't know how that works. It's better to have it and never use it than not have it and need it.

Once, but I wasn't cheap and I bought the Bestbuy warranty for $40 dollars. 20 minutes later, I had a new 360.

I purchase most of my multi-plats for the PS3. I don't care about multiplayer and I actually want my system to work when games like Mass Effect and Ninja Gaiden 2 come out.
