And what does being able to play better game mean a game is not great? Also Gamespot reviews does not mean how good a game is.

Yeah I totally agree. Better to use more then one review to judge a game. Halo Wars is an AA game end of discussion.

Multiplats are just that, how can you claim the 360 has had a better year when it shares all the same games with another console? Compared to the PS3 it's had a poor start, including multiplat games or not.-Snooze-

Better being an opinion. Gamespot gave it a 6.5 yes, but it has a high metacritic score, which s far more important then oens dudes poor review of a game.toast_burner

Well in System Wars metagame only Gamespot reviews count. But in real life they don't, so Halo Wars is a good game, sorry.

MS is in some pretty deep ****. There are so many awesome games this year I think many Lemmings will even jump on the PS3 boat (they won't sell their 360 for it but they'll buy a PS3). If Sony drops the price they will dominate both the holidays and right now. I'd vote for a $50 price drop at E3 to minimize losses and another $50 during the holidays. $100 works too, I can see either happening. Doing nothing would be stupid.

If Sony drops their price this year Sony could pull into second place with so many games (yes it would take a while) but the 360 isn't going to die until the next gen rolls around.

If MS announces Crackdown 2 do you think that is hope. ;)

Gears 2 isn't old, Fable 2 isn't old, Tales of Vesperia isn't old... hell Halo 3 is still getting a ton of support. I hope Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 will last you cows til the end of the year, because Infamous is single-player only and will probably only last you guys a month, if that.

don't forget all the ps3 games still coming out this year and probly even more will beannounced.Uncharted 2 has multiplayer and cause what i dont have to pay $50 to do it.

The PS3/Wii/PC had a"better" year. But I would not call this year a bad year for the 360. It not even a year yet. But it may be alittle unfair. I am not a fanboy.

Ummmm each one of the first 4 games received a 7.5 Good score from GS, while the 5th one received an 8.0 Great score.

So, ummm, yeah, according to GS they are good exclusives.

are we using some new fangled calander? i didnt know the year ended in May. ive said it before and I,ll say it again. why are people in such a rush to claim ownage for a whole year and its not even half way thru. ive been coming here for years and usually these types of threads pop up AFTER E3.

Let's hope they buy some good Japanese games because that's all MS does.

They have the resources at the moment to weather out the year, even if they only rely on multiplats this year.

Plus, there may not be major news exciting games at the moment, but we all know Microsoft's ways when it comes to the Xbox, they don't like to keep people waiting for too long.

However, if they start off 2010 without any new announcements then I would be worried. I would lose every last strand of hope if we get to E3 2010 and they didn't announce anything new or exciting.

They're not forgotten. It's just the fact you can't use a multiplatform game to validate the purchase of your chosen console. And that's all system Wars is.

Fact is 360 has so many great multiplats, upcoming and released that I couldn't care less about it's extremely short list of exclusives.

The 360 isn't doing bad at all. Do you honestly think three games is the deciding factor in changing the tide in console sales. The 360 continues to out sell the PS3 and the Wii will alway win no matter how little AAAs the platform gets.

Do you honestly think Bill Gates or the other guys at Microsoft sit in their Lair looking at meta critic panicking because Halo Wars doesn't have as high an average rating as Killzone 2?

As for 360 gamers, just because it hasn't got any AAAs exclusives in the part of the year where game releases usualy arent so hot is going to be such a big deal? it's not as if we didn't anything good to play. Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5, UFC 2009 Undisputed, The Chronicle of Riddick: Assualt on Dark Athena, Tom Clancy's Hawx, Star Ocean 4, Halo Wars, FEAR 2, Skate 2. Thats alot more than just Punch out. So what if they aren't all AAA or exclusives, theat doesnt mean they aren't worth playing and it doesnt mean they arent fun.

And if nothing else theres still a huge back catalouge of fantastic games to play from previous years and I doubt everyone has had the time and money to buy and play each one.

I kept trying to figure out who or what 360 fans reminded me of. I got it. They remind me of arrogant and annoying Yankee and Cowboys fans. Everytime somebody points out something bad to them or something they might not agree with Yankee and Cowboys fans fall back on the excuse of their previous championships. Ex. "Yankees suck this year!!" "Yeah well we get all these championships from previous years." "Cowboys need to step it up in the playoffs!!" "Well look at how many super bowl rings we have!!" "The 360 is seriously lacking in compelling games so far this year." "Well we still have so many AAA games from years past and just wait unil E3 for MS to rock your socks off!!!"lol
