I think both were ok and neither were all that great overall. It's clear that both served their purpose reading through threads like this though.

Because the views from the original stream aren't counted in it, and of course the ones from Twitch aren't either.

System Wars in full swing in this thread. Just want to say that it is not entirely fair to compare one game to a complete show of many games.

Personally I enjoyed Microsoft's show very much, besides I don't really need any more trailers to convince me that Horizon is going to be awesome.

Sure, let's cherry pick the Nintendo stream numbers, and ignore that people are obviously watching individual trailers rather than the full thing.

For reference, BOTW2's teaser trailer is already at 5 million views. It will most likely overtake Horizon's vid within the next few weeks.

Also worth keeping in mind that Sony fans are absolutely *desperate* for anything resembling a new game, so they'll all watch the Horizon stream. What else have they got to do - it's not like there's a ton of new PS5 games to play.

Yeah, it's pretty deceptive. I'm sure the game will be fine, but MS leaves NOTHING to chance when it comes to astroturfing hype. The real excitement should come from having something to show, but that's not gonna be for a while
