I am used to random PC studios, MS studios and Sony studio's closing. The good news is, I still keep buying the games I love on each respective system. It's a win win for me.

If Zero Dawn is not multi platform because the same purchase would allow you to play the game on either machine then one can argue that Play Anywhere games are not multi platform.
@davillain-: it's not a PS4 exclusive. It's multi platform because it's available on PS Pro.

Horizon works on both the PS Pro and PS4 because the PS Pro has software backwards compatibility features built in to mock the PS4 environment according to Mark Cerny from Sony. But if you don't consider that multiplatform, I would agree with you, same goes for Xbox Play Anywhere.

My hype for this is barely lukewarm. I like the setting, character design, the graphics and art are awesome but the gameplay loop looks like it was transplanted from an Ubi open world game. Not every game has to be daring and pioneer some new game mechanics but you'd think a game that's so well crafted otherwise would have something unique to offer in the gameplay department.

Regarding UBI, are you talking about the tower like save/open point, climbing and ziplining at the beginning?

this year is looking sweet for the PS4 we have Horizon, Nier Automata, Days Gone if it comes out this year and Crash Bandicoot I'm sure I am missing a few games too.

Lems have been dealing with a bad case of identity crisis ever since Cancelsoft diluted the brand by offering 99% of Cancelbox's offerings on PC without the Live fee(arguably a better deal than buying the console, albeit the shit windows store). Eh I am not convinced about gameplay. What it will be about? So far it looks like an assassin creed with prehistoric robots dinosaurs. You run around killing robot dinosaur? and this is it. I don't know. The premise is kinda stupid. I am not 5 anymore to be excited about something stupid as that. Graphics and open world looks good though. But sci-fi part is cheesy as hell ?
It all will come down to writing quality to convince me to not laughter out load at the game premise.

Expressing my opinion doesn't mean I'm mad. I just think mechanically it looks like another generic open world game. Pretty graphics gameplay looks kinda samey. Witcher/AC/MGS/SoM/FarCry got a new coat of paint.

Graphics don't look that great to me. They look cartoony, like UC4. But the facial animations during cut-scenes look good. Lip sync is off though.
