So far this year PS4 has gotten 3 AAAE, 1 AAE and 2 AE. Xbone's only exclusive of the year only scored a 6/10.

Damn. Aside from guessing 7 on Halo Wars 2, I've been on a roll with hype predictions lately. Guess it's not much of an accomplishment when this industry only uses 3 points of the 10 point scale in most cases, but still.

Great score though, hope the game actually measures up.

@ConanTheStoner: It's interesting that it's getting praise for stuff like the story as well as the gameplay (mostly in how flexible it allows the player to be). From all the things I expected, a "good" story was not one.

Sad but true. tbh i didnt expect this game to be good. Congrats Sony and GG now if we can just have GG stop making this killzone thing.

But I'm glad to hear the gameplay is both good and flexible at least. Way too busy of a game schedule right now, but I may check this one out eventually if the post-launch impressions are good.

I'd be inclined to agree with him too though. Video game scripts are generally not as impressive as other mediums (be it television, movie or literature).

It's worse than not being as good as films, they are literally shittier remakes of better movies. Gamers because they've never been outside before, but back in the old days when blockbuster was a thing. They had entire aisles of movies that were really shitty knock offs of a big Hollywood flick. Video games are those knock off when it comes to stories.

Of course, video game stories are almost always gross. At least Champ deals with them, so he has the fuel to properly shit on them.

Guerrilla Games finally delivers. Looks like an excellent game.

To be fair, this isn't their first critically acclaimed title. KZ2 and KZ3 both did pretty well if I'm not mistaken.

Hopefully this game is the real deal, but I'm gonna wait for the post-launch impressions to roll in before biting.

Im surprised the review says nothing about the fetch quests in the game though. Thats weird. Gamers usually always complain about them, so would think Gamespot would talk about them a little.
