Hot shots golf 300 000k preorders?? I dont get japan

How does a golf game get 300 000k preorders in japan, yet ninja gaiden sigma, folksoul, forza 2 all didnt really make a dent I just dont get japans taste in gaming

1. golf is fun

2everyone doesnt like action and racing

3.forzas graphix suck

4.anime looking characters

Not everyone likes racing and shooters. :|

Even I get sick of them once in a while.

and Hot Shots Golf 5 is tight on the PS3. :D

first, 300k preorder is claimed by scej self.

I bet this game won't sell more than 100k in first week.

Japan is insane. Everyone in that country owns like 8 DS'es.

And when I look at their best selling list I am puzzled most of the time.

I don't know if you have played the previous hot shot games. The game is pretty fun. Its something you and your friends can play becausethe learning curve is about 15 minutes. The characters areentertaning and the animations are fairly good.

The TC did not state whether it was consumers but it is believable if it is retailers. Though some PS3 and 360 games have had a strong first week in Japan and collapse the next week.

it's always sold really well there. it's a fun game what can you say?

Nah Hot Shots is alot better than Mario Golf imo and i've played them all.

The amount of supposed Halo 3 pre-orders was never confirmed. It's still merely a rumor.
