Level 41 with about 59 hours played. Did it all on Master.
Great game, but if you max either one of the crafting disciplines, you realize quickly the game wasn't balanced properly. Maxing two makes every fight in the game trivial. Maxing all three pretty is pretty much god mode.

I disagree. Maxed smithing to 100, made Dragonplate/Daedra weps, and I was still having a pretty good challenge with Dragons. Maybe I'm not very high up the heavy armor perk tree yet but I was still having to eat all the potatoes in my inventory to save myself in tough fights.
Once I maxed smithing, I could roll over Blood Dragons pretty easily. Their elemental attacks were a problem, as are most magic based attacks, but chugging a few resist Magicka's fixed that. Mages were problematic for a while until I got 100 enchanting and 65% Magicka resistance. Haven't really had much trouble since. A single Dual Handed power strike reduces Elder Dragons to < 25% health and ALWAYS staggers them at this point, meaning I can get the final few hits in without worry. Against any other opponent, the power strike just kills them outright.
I think the way the game is set up it doesn't do much to prevent exploitation. Crafting skills should be harder to increase. Alchemy seems to be at a good speed compared to smithing and enchanting, but they could all use a slower growth rate. And a level cap.
That being said, I love this game. Extremely capitivating.
