I just got nba 2k9. It's awesome, but games are starting to roll out. Dead Space. The Fable II, the week after. Then FAllout 3. Then Gears 2 the week after that. Then Banjo. Diablo III, Starcarft II, WOTLK. These normally would all be must play games and I'm sure I'm missing several that will be very good as well. I havent even finished GTA IV yet. I just started a new job and i dont have time to play all these games nevermind afford them. The thing is I want to be able to spend time with each game and enjoy it and I dont know how to do that? Diablo III alone and NBA 2k9 are games that will take control of my life I'm sure. Usually im the type of person who likes to focus on one game at a time and all these games will engross me i'm sure.

Well, I've had enough trouble since I bought TW09 and NHL09 in the same week lol. So far, with these two games I play each one for a couple hours in a day where I have the time.

I plan to do the same with the massive overload for the rest of this month. As long as each game gets at least a solid hour of attention every so often, it will (slowly, but surely) work out and I will enjoy it all.

I hope to have Dead Space completed before LBP and Motorstorm PR release, and that's a pretty realistic goal I think.

Rentals and waiting. The only problem is deciding on which games to wait for.

I have to delay buying them...farrell2k

This too. I am saving Fallout 3, Bioshock, NFS: Undercover, and Mirror's Edge for later.

LBP, Resistance 2, Motorstorm PR, and Dead Space will all get immediate attention.

I'm going to explode when I get LittleBigPlanet next week, then Fallout 3 the next week, then Gears of War 2 the week after that! I don't know how I'm going to get around to them all, but there's still the almighty time of the year known as Christmas, which I'll ask for even more games.

well to be honest to deal with it i just spend less time gaming

but what iam doing is ill buy the new games let them stockpile and play all my old games i have yet to beat

or better yest dont buy the new releases let them go down on price while i finish up my old games

either way dont rush play a game and enjoy it and move to the next one

It's hard and tough, and even tougher with a RRoD 360, but I'll be taking it one game at a game, just taking the games as they come, rolling with the releases, if I stay focused and maintain concentration I can overcome them.

Well think of it like this, every year there is a drought of games in the beginning of the year right?Well hold off a few of those game until then. It's usually like 3-5 months of stagnation until the heavy hitters of that year start rolling out.

Sometimes I swear I own more games I have not played than games I have.

I will buy a game when ever I see it for a good deal because I know I want to play or because it is a good deal. Like Unreal 3 for the PS3 is $19,99 this week at Gamespot. I did not want to play the game but for that price I may just go buy it anyways.

I try to never buy new games unless its DDR or really jumps out at me.

I'm still on my Halo 3 fix  Can't get enough of the games online. Anyways, the next games I'm getting are:

-Dead Space
-Fable II
-Gears 2
-Little Big Planet
-Fallout 3
-Far Cry 2 (maybe, we shall see)
-Call of Duty 5

Basically my 360 is going to be played like crazy (I buy multi-plats on 360 because my credit card doesn't work on the PS3's online store for some reason...:()

Unless I find a game to be painfully bad I don't finish it. Such as Lost Planet (in my opinion). Sometimes though, games I do want to finish I never get around to doing (Lost Odyssey, Dead Rising and The Orange Box)(and even these I brought out of my drawer and put on my desk of "games to play list") but that happens rarely in my case. What's the point of buying a game to never beat it?

Gamefly is a god-send sometimes. Until they send you number 8 on your Game Q -- even though four games above it are listed as "High Availability". High availability my ass! :|

Well you really have to narrow it down which can be a ***** sometimes. Current plan goes as follows: Buy Fallout 3 and Gears, rent Dead Space and Fable 2, Wait til Christmas for LBP, R2, and Socom. Buy Saints Row 2 when it hits $30. Try to fit in a rental for others including L4D and Far Cry 2...just too many games.

Oh no, theres too many games to play! Whatever will we do?

Honestly people find the worst things to complain about. When theres no games its rabble rabble rabble, and now when theres too much games its the same thing. What is going on.

I make sure the ones I want to play the most I get this year, eveything else I'm saving for the gaming drought, you know that time when devs suddenly believe releasing games during those months is blashemy.

It's kind of a bittersweet situation for me right now all the games I was really hyped for got delayed till next year now i'm left with the decision of buying games that I am kind of hyped for this fall or somehow being able to wait until Q2 next year and be in gaming heaven. I'm a sucker for the hype games get right after their release and everyone is having so much fun :(.

I'm going to wait for reviews to decide which game to get. I already have LBP preordered, which will easily keep me busy for the better part of the rest of the year, and after both R2, and Fallout 3 get reviewed..

I'll go off IGN, GT, EGM/1up, and GS's scores. Whichever game gets the higher average, I'll get. The other one will have to wait till I get some more spending money. Sucks, but thems the breaks.

lol. Who's complaining? I'm excited about all these games. I was just looking for suggestions on how to manage it. Sounds to me like you are the one finding the worst things to complain about, considering I wasn't complaining. I'm excited!

I just take it one game at a time. The good news about having a large backlog is that I finally got around to getting NMH and it was $20 at Blockbuster.

Yeah that's what is going to happen here and will extend the life of my 360 for sure. There are at least 10 games i want in the next 2 months and they are all games i could spend months or even years playing.

It's terrible, I'm currently playing GTA 4, Soul Calibur 4, Call of Duty 4, Lost Oddysey and the occasional Warhawk or Halo 3 match online. And there's still Wipeout HD and Duke Nukem. And I still haven't finished Echocrome! Oh, and there's 9 (Yes, NINE) PSP games I haven't finished. And even if I do finish those, there's the flood of games coming out in the next 2 months!

Feel sorry for me!

I limit myself to 2-3 games at a time (any platform), if i do play all my games at once (double digits here...) then you never get to complete even 1 game.
