From what I've heard from my one friend who got it, Miiverse is great but actual online gameplay ain't as smooth/easy as LIVE. It's free though so that's fair enough.

Pretty bad that Nintendo had all this time to strengthen it's online, bring in headsets and party chat, and it's not really more than a Wii online... oh well, still getting one eventually, last I recall you don't need online to play Metroid or Zelda games.

head sets? built in mic in controller... no party chat though but suppose you have the webcam in tablet controller for 121 Chat.

Sorry Trolls and Fanboys who do not own the console as this Topic is aimed at people who own the Console and have had experience with the Online on the Wii-U. So Ladies and Gentlemen how are you finding the overall Online experience in comparison to 360, PS3 and even the PC ?

Myself... I'm yet to have enough experience with the Online as i have recently just brought Tekken Tag 2 Wii Edition yesterday evening.

Tekken tag is pretty cool except I keep getting matched with the same people over and over again. The lag and choppiness is similar to what I experienced with soul calibur 4 & 5 on 360 only slightly more frequent. COD:BLOP 2 is similar to the COD games I played on 360 minus the trash talk from more skilled players. I'm not a huge shooter fan so it takes me a while to get good online so on wii u, you don't have to listen to racist, sexist or angry rants which makes it more enjoyable for me to play more often than on Xbox live. Those are the only games I've played online so far but, except for the lack of voice chat, the experiences are similar to Xbox live. What really sets their online apart is miiverse. I freaking love miiverse. I think this will be the future of online gaming copied by Microsoft and Sony for their next machines. I love the drawings by other wii u owners, I love how in some games like nsmbu other players can leave comments, hints and tips on the stage. I'm really excited to see how this feature gets implemented in future games. It creates a sense of community that simply doesn't exist on other platforms.

Yeah i had the same experience early morning a couple days ago on TTT2 with being matched with same person for several games. i've also experienced the choppiness due to someone having a really bad connection (1 rating).

Miiverse is quite awesome. my friend kept on asking me to log onto it to see where the secret tunnels where on Mario and several people helped me by taking pics in-game on where they was.
