How can 360 owners bash the PS3?

The ps3 is now affordable, has some amazing exclusives, has free online, great wifi connectivity, and is a very stable system. How can 360 owners say its crap when the 360 breaks constantly, makes you pay for online, does not have built in wifi, and most of its great games are now multiplat( in my opinion most of the good games on 360 i can get for ps3 ). Now to be fair I do agree that the 360 has a better online experience but other than that the PS3 exclusives are alot better than the 360's. So bottom line is how can you all bash the ps3

Nobody is forced to pay for online and wi-fi is a nice feature but not a necessity for a majority.  But I agree that one can't group can't knock another without having their own faults exposed.

It's very simple...

$400 for a videogame console IS NOT affordable in todays economy my friend.

The RROD issue has been resolved enough that bringing this up in an argument is pointless.

Built in wifi is NOT NECESSARY for Online play with the 360(why is this soo hard for PS3 fans to understand).

Most great games being multiplat this gen actually hurts the PS3 A LOT more.. DMC 4, RE5, Tekken 6, Ace Combat, the list goes on and on...

Bottom line is the 360 being someone's platform of choice is based purely on their opinion and VG tastes...   

How can you bash the 360?

And I don't see how any fanboy can bash either system...both are excellent.

2. Not very PS3 sku has wi-fi.

That having been said, fanboys will always bash the system(s) they don't own. They either can't afford the other consoles or feel burned by a particular company enough to hate it and bash it until they are blue in the face. It won't stop. It's system wars.:roll:

Although the RROD isnt as prominent as before it is still prominent. And built in wifi is an esential part of a console. Everybody may not need it but it sure helps. I couldnt play online with my PS3 in my room if i didnt have Wifiwiidog

Again, it's NOT essential for the masses.  In your case, I guess, but it is not essential.  Nice feature to have included for free instead of having to pay an extra $100 for it on the 360, but the PS3 works just fine w/ Ethernet cords.

so, what's the new failure rate then? if you're saying it doesn't break that much anymore, you should provide something substancial to prove it. everyone knows that 360 still breaks at ridiculous rates, even if the situation is better than it was before.

Wifi isn't essential at all. Convienient, yes. Your basic wired connection is far better, faster and more stable than wifi.

In Feb 2008 it was revealed that the failure rate was 16% with just over half of those being RROD-

So the actual RROD rate was just under 10%. And this is before the new Jasper chips came out. So we know it's much lower than 10%, at least.

Xbox live is superior. Yes, you pay for it, but it IS better. 

The graphics are better. On multiplats, either the Xbox is superior, or equal (With the exception of Oblivion). You can argue all you want, but when you can't even play GTA4 in 720p on the PS3, and I can on my 360, well I call that better.

I prefer the controllers. 

No achievements. (Trophies don't count, they're still not there yet)

More games 

I can multitask while playing games, like chat with my buddies who are playing something else, listen to music, stuff like that. 

So that's how I bash the PS3. I really had to think about which console to go with, but I'm happy I bet on the 360. BLu-Ray is nice, but I'd rather just watch the movies off marketPlace anyway. They don't cost $40 a piece & I don't have to get off my ass to go to the store.

I own all three major systems (Wii, 360, PS3) and love them all. I wouldn't get rid of any of the three.

However, right now I'm more loyal to my PS3 over my 360. I've been through three 360's now with breakdown after breakdown, and finally have a working on that seems to be in good shape. Bought one PS3, used, never a problem with it whatsoever.  The worst experience for me is M$'s customer service -- absolutely, positively, epicly horrible. Don't expect to ever get the same answer twice. (Though admittedly, I had one especially horrid experience with Nintendo support, despite their reputation otherwise.)

 My PS3 also has slightly better HD resolution than my 360.

Now the thing is, there's the newer model of 360 that's supposed to be more stable and have HDMI connection -- all fine and well, but I already bought the old one. I'm not up to buying the new one, then trying to throw my old one up on ebay to hope and cover part of the cost.

That said, I love Halo. I can appreciate Gears of War.  And all of my friends are on Xbox Live -- I actually own GTAIV on both systems for that one reason. I play solo missions on the PS3, and online with friends on the 360.

 I see no real advantage of Live over PSN. I actually am rather fond of PSN, and hate paying double for Live because my wife and I both play online with our own usernames and friend lists. 

 PSN allows me to rent movies, an awesome feature. Waiting to see how NetFlix does on Live in comparison.

 A MAJOR plus -- I can swap out hard drives for my PS3 when I finally want to upgrade to a larger one with the right laptop HDD. I don't believe it's quite so easy with the 360. As far as I know, I'm stuck with the space I have until I buy memory cards.

 Most of my most impressive games are on PS3 -- MGS4, Drake's Fortune, Motorstorm, WarHawk...360 has some great titles, but these ones on the PS3 really shine IMHO.

 And what can I say, I LOVE Blu Ray. 360 missed the boat there.

But at the end of the day, I still wouldn't ditch either. I love Halo. I love Warhawk. I'm sticking with both systems all the way through (or until the next RROD).

I have started to see a lot of failed optical drive, particularly on the 1st generation systems (20GB and 60GB). Please don't misconstrue what I am saying, nothing near what the RROD was(nothing can ever come close), but enough to notice that there may be an issue. What's worst is that Sony will make you pay for a repair ($180) or you have to pony up for a new system.

Sony has been in the hardware business for twice that time and the PS1 and PS2 had hardware problems, so previous experience means very little when venturing into a different market...

Oh I guess hardcore sony fan boys are alittle poed at getting the same treatment you guys gave anyone who was either not a PS2 fan or not a PS2 owner last gen . sony fans are getting exactly what is coming to them for the way Xbox fans got treated during last gen .
