How can ANYONE in their right mind say that Wii is better than PC?!?!

Well, i was speaking to some kids at school and about 80% said that the Wii had better games. Now can anyone tell me how it is true? they said that 'its better beacuse it focuses on family content.' Now can someone PLEASE explain how these people call them selves 'GAMERS?' oh and when i mentioned a game likeHalf life or Call of Duty 4, they would all say 'they are crap' LOL

Personally, I'd view Wii is better than the PC in terms of gaming.

Wii - You get to sit on a sofa and look at a screen and it doesn't require two consoles to be multiplayer, much more comfortable to play and it's simple to use: buy a CD and insert it, then play.

PC - Although the games range to more than millions, I'd say it would be somewhat a hassle to play games: you have to install it, check the specs of your computer, configure your computer. I view the PC as a surfing and a programming console.

many games on that list are low quality and only appeal to a small niche of people. the few good high quality ones get exclipsed by the wii exclusive games. that's why i've been saying the wii has better 2009 games. as i said before quality>>>>quantity

the last great pc game i knew of was duke nukem 3d and half life series, their all siad and done and also doom is on snes xbox360 n64 dn is on 360 n64 ps1 gba

Are you kidding me? The PC has the highest amount of AAE+ games this generation, more than the Wii by a large margin. The PC also has one of the most diverse library of games. Nintendo systems have never been better than the PC system. Nintendo may have been more prominent in your childhood, but in reality the PC always had the largest number of great exclusives. Even in today's gaming scene where multiplatform game development is so popular, the PC still leads well over the other systems. I'm fine with you liking the Wii better, but I think using your own ignorance to form an argument inexcusable.

And WRPGs, Racing, Fight Sims, MMORPGs, Adventure, Hack n' Slash, Strategy, Music games etc. The PC has one of the most diverse library of games, it's just that people don't seem to remember this, probably because it takes one more argument away from their already low "PC hating" stockpile of arguments.

Wii is horrible compared to any previous Nintendo console (aside from Virtual Boy lol.) It's filled with casual games and shovelware.

Truth. Although the Wii has very few goo exclusives, most of the REAL games (Not Wii fit and Wii sports and that failure) like Mario Galaxy,Metroid Prime 3 etc are astounding. But the PC has millions (Literally) more good titles than the Wii.

Zack & Wiki couldn't be done on PC because of the controls... Also, I prefer the Wii version of World of Goo because it feels more interactive.
