how can we take Gamespot serious, it gave the show an 8.0 while the average score is AAA:roll:

its only one person's opinion

Edit - If anything, I think FF deserved this score more than Gamespot's

i can give ff13 a 10/10, the guy above me a 8/10, the guy below me a 6/10. a review is one persons view, not fact. play the game and decide for yourself how good it is. i hate people who let game reviews decide everything for them. especially the ones who will not play games rated lower than a 9.0, these are the people who give websites like these and ign so much power over sales of games.

That's funny, so far I think the game's score should be much closer to Famitsu's opinion and not GS.

So how could I ever take GS seriously!?

Oh, because they're opinions. Kai!

Hey, its a good game and has some amazing art. I've always been in favour of having sigs made from the highest quality of art.

Indeed it is. Such an awesome, beautiful game.

It really is under appreciated.

You aren't suppose to take reviews seriously. You're suppose to use them to help you make better purchases. I think a lot of people don't understand this.

The average critic score right now is only 8.4. According to Famitsu, FF13 is worth a 9.7

How can anyone ever take them seriously from now on? I mean, a 9.0 ie. 36/40 would perhaps be more acceptable. 39/40 is a near perfect score. To give a game with so many shortcomings an almost perfect score is just ridiculous.

I always considered them to be biased, but now i know for sure they really are.

i guess sites like EDGE are more credible because they gave this a 5/10 am i right?? pffft

Does no one remember that this is the place that gave Nintendogs 40/40? They have interesting tastes shall we say.

well for one, it's japan and it's a JRPG....make sense?

and two....western reviewers are all giddy over the WRPG's this gen and their choice mechanics....FFXIII of which does not have because it's JRPG

No, a better question is how can they be taken seriously when they gave Blue Dragon a 37/40. The also gave Infinite Undiscovery a 32/40 and The Last Remnant a 38/40. They'll give just about any big budget jrpg a high score.

same with western reviewers and WRPG's

it's all regional preference really

like westerns LOVE fps's....but japanese gamers sometimes get motion sick over fps's and just hate them in general

No, not really. How many good score did you see go out to Two Worlds, Dark Messiah or Risen? And First Person shooters don't get bad scores? Give me a break. Shooters get bad score from reviewers all the time, provided it's a bad shooter.

I was just thinking it needs to take more than one review to call them uncreditable. But I support Edge Magazine reviews because they are so different then everyone else. So I can't say it needs more "wacked" out reviews from the average score. I have to say they're just fans.

didn't say they don't get bad scores...just saying that fps's probably get even WORSE scores in japan than here, just like some JRPG's get worse scores here
