and KZ2's demo was atleast more impressive than this ones,i was actually quite taken back

since the TC took so much effort to create the exact same thread posted minutes ago, I'll take the same amount of effort to paste my response.

as already mentioned. The TC doesn't know what he's talking about. I've yet to see any "cows" hype this game AAA.

I'm not saying Yakuza is AAAE -- the demo made me laugh in all the wrong ways -- but just because its predecessors weren't great doesn't mean it isn't.

I loveSW its the only place where facts arent needed. Back on point no one really hyped this game like that cause it wasnt coming west. Now that its coming west fans of the games dont care if it scores a 2 they are gonna buy it cause they are fans. So this thread gets the FAIL SEAL of APPROVAL!!!

Plenty of sequels get higher scores than previous games in the series.

I think the real question is: How can people say a game is AAA when it's not even out yet?

Because they thought it to be a more enjoyable reviewer than "professional critics"?

I have yet to see a hype thread period for yakuza 3. I espcially have not seen anyone say AAA. I personally think it could get a 8 at least,but going by gs review of the first 2 I say 7.

That's true, but it's the actual game that prevents Yakuza from getting an AAA. From the lackluster graphics to the awkward fighting mechanics to the switching back and forth between voiced cutscenes and text, the game is seriously janky.

Oh well....same old SW. lol at Heavy Rain flop manipulation. Putting scores, a poll, and a sticky for the game to manipulate hype? That's not how it's done.:|

Also, comparisons to Killzone make no sense, since the demo for Yakuza is out and it's not anything special, unlike the KZ2 Beta and Demo's. Finally, we can see the scores for all three games, and see it's just going to be a fun little game that PS3 almost didnt' get.

Take a niche game, hype it AAA (like Heavy Rain) and get ready to bash it to heck! :PIt's a great formula that's worked for a few years, and there is no one going to stop them, because too many don't understand what's happening.

Cows didnt underhype Uncharted 2 or GOW3...etc hyping the game which will 100% get AAAE is a smart idea.
