Nintendo is a disgrace and you shouldn't even use COD as your "best shooters"
COD is terrible on the Wii.

Modern Warfare Reflex, Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 are some of the best online games on the Wii. About the only real issue is the fact that Activision refuses to give us map packs and updated game modes.
Otherwise, they are excellent games. And I do enjoy the Wii versions due to the motion controls.
COD Black Ops..
IGN gives Wii version 7.5/10
Metacritic : 80/100
COD Modern Warfare (Wii)
Metacritic : 76/100 (Xbox/PS3 : 94/100 )
GameRankings : 78.50% (PS3 Version : 93.54%)
COD Modern Warfare 3 (Wii)
Metacritic : 70/100 (PS3/Xbox : 88/100)
GameRankings : 69.25% (PS3 : 88.14 % , Xbox 88.34 %)
If thats your definition of "excellent" then it just shows the typical Nintendogs view of games and it shows the difference in quality between PS3/Xbox and Wii.
One thing to keep in mind, Gamespot scores are the only ones that matter here. I find it funny that Gamespot scores are all that matter when Nintendo games score low on here, but when it comes to comparing those to other systems we suddenly pull out Metacritic.
By the way, it works both ways. Skyward Sword scored 7.5 here but has a 93% ranking on Metacritic(better then Gears of War 3 and Uncharted 3). So, for the sake of argument, only Gamespot scores matter.
So with that said, I should note that Black Ops on the Wii scored a 9.0, the same score the HD versions got.
Also, World at War on the Wii got an 8.5, the same score that the HD versions got.
The only one that scored lower was Modern Warfare Reflex, which scored an 8.5. For the record, the HD versions of MW got a 9.0. Which means the Wii version did not score that much lower.
So by Gamespot's standard, the Wii CODs are either equal or slightly lower scoring when compared to the HD versions.
