For one thing Super Mario Galaxy is being run on drastically less powerful hardware and IT STILL looks better than any gameplay screenshots you could show of Ratchet and Clank.

Secondly, you got the name wrong of half of the games you listed.  The Virtua Fighter game you posted is from the SNES, you compared Pirates to Uncharted, instead of comparing a game as beautiful looking as Twilight Princess, and you compared GT Pro Series to Gran Turismo?  Try comparing shots that make logical sense.  I don't understand how cows can be cows with all of this crap logic.

"cmon cows,sheep and lemmings. just start getting top of the Line PCs and forget about those POS consoles. The PC is a massively more powerful system with more potential for gaming greatness than all 3 consoles combined. why support old and dated hardware with little prospects for advancments when u can support a platform that evolves and is always on the cutting edge. u can even bring ure fav controllers over to the PC and play games using them on the PC. MGS4 may look ok but imagine what kojimas team could do with PC level hardware...it would make what there making now look like a mega drive game. look at the PC exclusives like crysis and the witcher. they put anything on consoles to the sword easily. games like bioshock will also be far superior on PC due to mods and more advanced tech."

The fact that they scored a 9 doesn't at all mean that I can't say its better, it means that I have room to argue the point.  Besides, you seem committed to comparing the "latest" additions in the franchise.  If that's the case then Super Mario wins, seeing as the latest entries in the series were on the DS and PSP.

But platform games have evolved past the simple side scroller. Old games are fine but thats no reason to hate everything thats new which is the only reason I can see why anyone would hate the Ratchet series. Fighting games started with Street Fighter but thats no reason not to love Tekken or Virtua Fighter. Nostalgia is not a free pass, its what you do now that matters.

Yeah NSMB vs Size Matters, was a mario win. That doesn't mean Ratchet is no good.

Who isnt though? I mean Smash Bros is one of the best fighting game of our time, especially from the 3D standpoint. Its loads of fun and is easy to pick up and play for anyone of any age, and its not uber mature violence either so kids can play it worry free due to the fact that there isnt excessive blood and/or swearing. I dont think I have played a fighting game since the Genesis/SNES days that I enjoyed as much as Smash Bros has done for me.

I took this thread as a joke thread, because you just can't be serious about comparing most of the games PS3_FTW compared.  The only ones that are actually worth comparing are SMG and R&C, which even then I'm not sure is a fair comparison. 

But whether PS3_FTW is joking or not, the thing that annoyed me most in this thread is when people are saying that SMG will be, hands down, better than R&C no questions asked.  When you say that, you are being just as big of a fanboy as PS3_FTW is.  If you would say in my opinion, it would be understandable to write something down like SMG will be better than R&C.  The reason for this is its all opinion; I have a friend who loves R&C and he will probably think that R&C is the better game.  And I have a friend who likes Nintendo and will probably like SMG more than R&C. 

All I'm saying is, don't be hypocritical and call PS3_FTW a fanboy (even though he is one) when you are being just as big of a fanboy.  That's all I have to say and have a nice day :) (it rhymed kinda...whoa...) 

PS3 >>> Wii in every single category besides sales which its not winning by 2 much as the sheep believe. Gameplay, Graphics, Support, Load times, Frame rates. HD etc. etc. However the problem is not Nintendo its Microsoft. Imaginif 360 wasn't their. GTA, DMC, all those would be PS3 eclusives.
