jeeze, could you ride on Naughty dog's Slong any longer? That DLC shouldn't be worth a split of GAME of the Year considering it's just an Add on. You can't even play it without the base game on ANY system. If it was stand alone, sure That would be okay, but IT'S DLC. a PORTION of a Full Game, EXTRA HELPINGS. This is a BIG SLAP in the face of the Developers of The Stick of Truth, DarkSouls 2, and Dragon Age Inquistion, which were all Running for Best PS3 game and were FULL GAMES that saw hardly ANY backlash.
Hey dumbfuck, kindly show me where I said literally ANYTHING in praise of Naughty Dog in my post? I haven't even played that DLC and my PS3 GOTY is Dark Souls 2. I only said that there's nothing wrong with DLC winning IF they think it's that good.
I know it's an add on. I know you can't play it without the original Last Of Us. So fucking what? IFit's a brilliant gaming experience, the best all year, why does it matter? A piece of DLC can be vastly superior to a full game. Bethesda DLC for Oblivion, Skyrim and the Fallout games was better than most other RPGs last gen. Rockstar's DLC for GTAIV and Red Dead Redemption was better than most other open world games last gen. I assume you have equal problems with World Of Warcraft expansions winning PC GOTY?
You're just stamping your feet and screaming that an awesome gaming experience "DOESN'T COUNT!" for some made up arbitrary reason. That's all everyone does on System Wars. Invent fucking psychotic rules why games "don't count". You've got people complaining about multiplats winning for christ sake. Because someone else getting to play the game on another system means it no longer exists... oy vei.
To reiterate: I'm glad GS picked their favourite gaming experiences, and didn't start inventing batshit crazy rules as to why their most fun gaming experience of the year ACTUALLY didn't exist.
