Bungie respects their fanbase. Bungie interacts with their fanbase. Bungie has delivered AAA quality with every Halo release. The Call of Duty games on the other hand are just rehashed year after year after year, and with the recent scandals it's quite clear what they think about you, the gamer.

Well to be honest with you Ihave enjoyed the Call of Duty's that have come out this generation and I as a gamer have had a lot of fun playing them. It also has been very fun playing Halo. The bottom line is that it is your opinion that it is a rehash. The other 2-3 million people that have bought Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 don't think the same way, so your statement is flawed.

Or you can not support either and simply buy whatever you like or support both, they're not football teams, I don't have to choose one over the other...

It is all about opinions. People like to buy Call of Duty despite as you said, it is a total rehash. Also, ODST wasnt something original and I dont think it had to cost like a normal game. Lets see what happens with Halo Reach and the next Call of Duty that is coming next year.

HALO is a fictional sci-fi universe, CALL of DUTY games are realistic soldiers with realistic weapons put in actual historic or realistic situations.

I don't understand it either, I like COD, but the campaigns are shorter than most Halo games, it takes less skill than Halo(I admit to getting owned in Halo sometimes) and there's tons more(milkage) games, click here to see main games and spin offs.

And no COD game outscored the original Halo on Gamespot and metacritic.

However most people prefer realism as opposed to sci-fi, hey i love sci-fi myself but these two games are totally different in genres and control it's hard to compare the two.

They are completely different types of games...

And infinity ward COD games are always much improved...your probably taking COD 3 and World at War into account...

COD was a great game, COD 2 was a great game, COD 3 sucked, COD modern warefar was a great game, COD WAW sucked, COD MW2 is a great game

I agree, you have no proof. Honestly if you want to get real I can't stand realism, because nobody actually does it right. Halo at least admits it is crazy and runs with it.

Bungie is far better at support than most developers, includiing IW imo. However, IW's gameplay has taken some leaps past Halo like a Sprint/Run option for instance.

Halo is great fun, but ultimately, it boils down to a multiplayer jump/shoot fest, and it just looks silly online. Great fun, but IW's gameplay is more enticing to many.

That being said, I do think Bungie is better in many respects...

Modern Borefare felt rehashed while playing. Modern Warefail 2 does little to improve that, and infact takes it in the wrong direction. Rewarding players for being bad  Having guns unlock at a certain level instead of everyone starting at a level playing field? The fact that there is a perk that can end the game?

Most people don't even hate Halo. They just find stupid reasons to bash it. I, for one, like both equally and will continue to support both franchises until they lose focus of thier games, but won't compare one game to another. Just wierd to compare a SciFi to a realistic shooter.

I love how a Sprint/Run feature apparently makes a game groundbreaking. Certain games are better off without like, Halo for one, and Rainbow Six is another example of a sprint feature being unnecessary.

Yeah, MW2 is so enticing and intriguing. Let's sit in this building looking out the window for 15 minutes and just shoot everyone across the map with my pistol and get kills!

^Touche I have nothing important to say other than pasting this funny description of a supposed new COD named COD 7 Main article: COD7 Call of Duty 7 is going to be called back and they are just going to make another game set in world war 2 with all the same maps as call of duty 1 with the same exact campaign EXCEPT it has worse graphics from the very first console so everything looks like boxes and your gun has a 80% chance of glitching so you can not fire. Also the second you put it in your xbox you have a VERY HIGH probalbility of getting the RED RING OF DEATH because Microsoft hates you and wants you to spend an extra 300 dollars to buy a new Xbox that already has the red ring of death. Lol wikipedia and your "anyone can edit" privileges.

Fully-priced expansion? That's sure showing a lot of respect. I'm sure the 5hr campaign + 1 new multiplayer mode justifies the $60 ($70 here in Canada).

Now if I were a Halo fan, I wouldn't be very happy about having to pay for the map packs that I've already puchased through DLCs in the past 2-3 years.

Your gamercard says you didn't play ODST.

On topic, the campaign was 8 hours the way I played it and had plenty of replayability. It also had plenty of fan service. That alone shows "respect" in my book. Also the new multiplayer mode was fun with friends. Plus it was pretty convenient to have ALL the maps on one disc along with 3 new ones.

Waiting for it to hit the bargain bin, but not owning it doesn't make what I said any less true.

Not here to debate whether a game was good or not, just saying this is a case of pot calling the kettle black.
