How Come When We Compare Forza 3 and GT5, The Sales Dont matter but....

When we compare Gran Turismo 5 and Forza 3, sales, communitty, and acclaim dont count.......................................

But the second Cows mention Killzone 2, they dont even have to so much as breathe the word "halo" and we still have Lemmings craping all over it with Halo 3's Sales? Like theres this unanimous agreement that Halo 3 is legions better? I swear, its almost like immediate kneejurk rejection, and lemmings begin talking about how halos community somehow proves its superiority? Whats even funnier, is that Ive seen some of the same posters participating in the some of the same threads im mentioning.

a bit of a double standard, dont you think? Well, Lemmings, you cant have them both, so were going to settle this now........

You can either have:

Forza 3 > Gran Turismo 5 BUT Killzone 2 > Halo 3

or

Gran Turismo 5 > Forza 3 BUT Halo 3 > Killzone 2

Your choice. Whats it gonna be?

I want to kick back and watch how this goes, but I will say this : Cant' we just buy Halo, Killzone 2, Forza3, and GT5 and play them all as FPS and Racing Sim lovers?

um i dont think you understand even what you your self are trying to say here.

Halo 3 is a better story, gameplay, and all around game then killzone 2 and it destroys it in sales and players.

Forza series has all ways had the leg up in gameplay over Gran tourismo, and GT5 isn't even out yet it wont be out till march of next year...and likely will get delayed till about october 2010 cause its not perfect enough. He'll we'll likely see a GT5P2 before we see the actual game.

The sales don't need to matter. Halo 3 is more critically acclaimed than Killzone 2 in addition to having much better sales numbers.

I'll say Burnout Paradise is better then both of those racers, and it's multiplat so everyone can have fun. And i'll say COD4 is better then both those shooters and again it's multiplat so everyone can have fun. This is my opinion and nothing more.

GT and playstation been around alot longer

Forza actually blew GT out of the water when it comes to quality tho(not talkin about GT5)unlike KZ

heres why Halo 3 is better then KZ2 without any talk about sales

even tho its 2 years older it has co-op, online split screen, a way deeper ranking system and level creator

kz2 has a single playerand online mp and thats it. in comparison its kinda sad, especially no split sceen at all

Halo 3 doesnt even need sales to prove it is superior to Killzone 2. It gets much better reviews and it is played a lot more then Killzone 2.

For GT5 and Forza 3 its different because the competitors are more evenly mached.. But Forza has been a lot better then GT ever since the original Forza Motorsport was released.
