[QUOTE="heretrix"]you're probably one of those guys who complains at an ice cream store that there's not enough nuts and just makes life difficult for others, huh.I see where you are coming from. It's a bit too much to ask people at a specialty store to be.....SPECIALISTS.
When I got to a camera store to buy a camera, I'm looking for a complete ass that knows absolutely nothing about cameras.
THAT'S SERVICE!

I just don't understand all the complaining. i don't think Gamestop is a wonderland either, but if you want to buy a new game and have one close, the price will be the same as anywhere and it's not like they give you broken games.
I don't think it's unreasonable for a person to expect proper service when they are spending their money in a store.I don't think that it's unreasonable for you to expect for people that work in a specialty store to know what they are talking about most of the time. I like shopping in places where I can have an intelligent conversation with a clerk about a product that I'm buying. Even If I am well versed in a particular product, maybe the clerk will have a different spin on something and could possibly refer me to something else, expanding my knowledge a bit.
Shopping should be a pleasant experience. You SHOULD be catered to as your patronage is what keeps these guys in business. It's amazing what passes for customer service in most stores today. It's absolutely dreadful, You are lucky if you can get a clerks attention half the time.

Dude, I work hard for my money. Have you ever heard the phrase "A fool and his money is easily parted"? I am by no means an impossible customer, but I do expect store employess to act like they want my business. Anybody that accepts bad service as the norm is just shortchanging themselves.
