i cant wait , im tired of these old consoles, nothing new and exciting ,
disgusted by the fact many gamers think its alright that ms and sony wait til 2014-2015 for their next consoles,
when its appearent we need them now , and the 2nd poster doesnt know what hes talking about , there is plenty of hype on the wii u , in fact theres even a waitl list on top of preorders!
lol never seen this before
I had completly forgotten about it
The major things i want now is Bravely Default on 3DS, Halo 4 on xbox 360 and Ni no Kuni, Dragons Crown (and hopefully Last Guardian) on PS3
And none of those are on WiiU, in fact WiiU game library makes me sleepy
I was replaying Witcher 2 on xbox 360 today, the game is so spectacular and 10 billion times more impressive than anything Nintendo has come up with since Zelda WW
I would be barely aware of that if it wasn´t for the occasional posts in this forum(like yours) that I see mentioning it,can´t even remember the last time a new home console release had so little hype.Arach666Pretty much, everytime a new home console releases the weeks(and even months) before the actual launch are always full of hype in the forums and in the gaming media but I barely hear anything about the WiiU,and it releases in less than a month.
It's 20billion times more impressive then anything Microsoft has come up with since. ?????I had completly forgotten about it

- They are doing a terrible job marketing it so far.
- The lineup looks weak so far.
- The system doesn't really give you the impression it has any horse power under the hood
- It's going to be a typical Nintendo console. You get it for Nintendo first party games, and really nothing else
- There are going to be a lot of games that shoe horn in dumb tablet functions, with very few games using it in a manner that is actually cool or productive
- You have to be so incredibly stupid to honestly want to spend that money day 1 for anything other than ebaying it.
There's no advertising, we still dont know everything there is to know about the system. By now I would had liked a full walkthrough on all the system offers, we have seen nothing in the way of how online works, does the tablet give you a nice smilling hello when that is turned on?, what happens when you go out of range? Can we plug in external Hdd? Id like to see it actually happen. For me, this would be like blindingly purchasing something in the hope that it would be good, buying a product you know only half about.
The only point I disagree with, is the second one. The line up looks solid. Good chunck of 3rd party games in the release window. And a good 1st party line up. The only thing that tickles me, is that no game really screams "next gen". But I wouldn't call it weak. Or maybe I don't expect much of next gen consoles =Sjg4xchamp

I have the Wii U Deluxe pre-ordered and still I have no excitement for the system whatsoever. Rayman Legends getting delayed pretty much killed all hype I had for it's launch.

you cant really say that this time around.
nintendo has such a sour rep to gamers that they wont hype the system but they know its relevant.
while in the outside world their is so many people anticipating it.
i got the luxury to play it and its really spectacular
Not excited, but that's probably because Nintendo themselves are being quiet about it. I'm sure that'll change in the upcoming weeks.
I'm kinda excited for it, but seriously the lack of hype behind this console (even from me) is bewildering. I guess people still don't see it as truly next gen yet.

- The marketing campaign hasn't started yet, wut?
- One of the strongest launch window lineups ever
- And that's what makes it more appealing than other systems. Nintendo 1st party still the best in the industry, by far.
- Nah. The first thing they showed of Wii U was Pikmin 3 played with the Wiimote and Zelda U will require wm+; the right control scheme for the right game, no shoe horns. Even 3rd parties have been impressive in this regard.
- The price will barely drop in ~4 years from now, maybe $100 tops. That's no problem. You'd want to get one next year anyway when Retro's and EAD Tokyo's game hits the shelves.

I think it is going to be a fine machine and am interested to see how the exclusives turn out but I will not support it.
Right now I'm un-impressed with it. So basically I'm going to take a wait and see attitude with it.
I really depends on what games become available for it. I'm really not interested in playing games on the Wii-U I already own on the Xbox/PS3.
I'll probably wait and buy it when the new Zelda comes out. That game looks great so far.
Completly indifferent. No desire to purchase one, maybe in a few years. I learned from my mistake of being an early Wii adopter. Still boggles my mind something so subpar and 7 years old looking could be sold at a loss. Must be that terrible gamepad.
I'd feel super excited
If it was 2006 and it was launching with a traditional, 360 like, controller. :P
wait? is this a new console , i thought its just a tablet controller addon for wii
AmnesiaHaze
It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people think that. Nintendo is doing a terrible job at hyping up the system.
I'm just going to wait and see how it does, I have no incentive to buy one in it's first year. I will wait until the 720/PS4 are announced and then see what they are all doing.
I think its launching with an interesting line-up of titles however I still have no interest in this console...
