How do you feel about the Wii U being released in less than a month?

i cant wait , im tired of these old consoles, nothing new and exciting ,

disgusted by the fact many gamers think its alright that ms and sony wait til 2014-2015 for their next consoles,

when its appearent we need them now , and the 2nd poster doesnt know what hes talking about , there is plenty of hype on the wii u , in fact theres even a waitl list on top of preorders!

The major things i want now is Bravely Default on 3DS, Halo 4 on xbox 360 and Ni no Kuni, Dragons Crown (and hopefully Last Guardian) on PS3

And none of those are on WiiU, in fact WiiU game library makes me sleepy

I would be barely aware of that if it wasn´t for the occasional posts in this forum(like yours) that I see mentioning it,can´t even remember the last time a new home console release had so little hype.Arach666

• They are doing a terrible job marketing it so far.
• The lineup looks weak so far.
• The system doesn't really give you the impression it has any horse power under the hood
• It's going to be a typical Nintendo console. You get it for Nintendo first party games, and really nothing else
• There are going to be a lot of games that shoe horn in dumb tablet functions, with very few games using it in a manner that is actually cool or productive
• You have to be so incredibly stupid to honestly want to spend that money day 1 for anything other than ebaying it.

There's no advertising, we still dont know everything there is to know about the system. By now I would had liked a full walkthrough on all the system offers, we have seen nothing in the way of how online works, does the tablet give you a nice smilling hello when that is turned on?, what happens when you go out of range? Can we plug in external Hdd? Id like to see it actually happen. For me, this would be like blindingly purchasing something in the hope that it would be good, buying a product you know only half about.

Excited for it's future, HD 1st party titles yes please.

I have the Wii U Deluxe pre-ordered and still I have no excitement for the system whatsoever. Rayman Legends getting delayed pretty much killed all hype I had for it's launch.

you cant really say that this time around.

nintendo has such a sour rep to gamers that they wont hype the system but they know its relevant.

while in the outside world their is so many people anticipating it.

Not excited, but that's probably because Nintendo themselves are being quiet about it. I'm sure that'll change in the upcoming weeks.

I'm kinda excited for it, but seriously the lack of hype behind this console (even from me) is bewildering. I guess people still don't see it as truly next gen yet.

Don't really feel much about it. I'll want one at some point defininetely. Not day 1 though.

• By around this time was when we were already getting Wii/360/PS3 commercials, or general build up for the release date. The fact that Nintendo is waiting this long to kickstart the marketing is silly. It should be in mid swing by now.
• "launch window" lineups is using some grade A nintendo spin. The initial launch has maybe 1 or 2 exclusives of note right now(Zombie U and Mario). The rest of their potential big hitters(Pikmin 3/Wonderful101/Bayo2) are spread out through Q1 2013 right now from what I remember. Besides it's good on a launch lineup standpoint. Right now it doesn't exactly justify a 300 dollar console, when the 360/PS3 exist, and the PC is well the PC
• Let's calm down the hyperbole for a second, and ask how being a 1 dimensional system is a good thing? I like Metroid and Mario as much as the next guy, but 3rd party depth and multiplats mean a lot. Right now it's a port system in that department. Nothing about it gives you the impression so far that it's going to keep getting multiplats when the other next gen systems start
• That's a few examples, I'll be willing to bet that there will be more going the other way. Also I strongly disagree with Zelda needing wm+
• The price will drop to some extent, the lineup will be better, you won't have to deal with the launch time nonsense, more likely to get them during holiday sales/discounts/etc next year alone, etc. There are more incentives to hold out, than to go for it day one.

I dont realy care for it, but Iam intrested to know how well it sells compared to the wii.

I think it is going to be a fine machine and am interested to see how the exclusives turn out but I will not support it.

Right now I'm un-impressed with it. So basically I'm going to take a wait and see attitude with it.

I really depends on what games become available for it. I'm really not interested in playing games on the Wii-U I already own on the Xbox/PS3.

I'll probably wait and buy it when the new Zelda comes out. That game looks great so far.

Completly indifferent. No desire to purchase one, maybe in a few years. I learned from my mistake of being an early Wii adopter. Still boggles my mind something so subpar and 7 years old looking could be sold at a loss. Must be that terrible gamepad.

It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people think that. Nintendo is doing a terrible job at hyping up the system.

I'm just going to wait and see how it does, I have no incentive to buy one in it's first year. I will wait until the 720/PS4 are announced and then see what they are all doing.

I think its launching with an interesting line-up of titles however I still have no interest in this console...

Good becuz the faster it releases the faster people can test it out for me and the faster the price will drop before i buy it
