How do you feel about the Wii U being released in less than a month?

I would be barely aware of that if it wasn´t for the occasional posts in this forum(like yours) that I see mentioning it,can´t even remember the last time a new home console release had so little hype.Arach666

I think when the next gen starts with the release of the wii the board is going to be very quiet s all the lemmings and cows will have to post in the legacy system forum.

Like no one I know in the real world knows about it. I'm always explaining the system to coworkers and friends. I'm getting one but I'm building a gaming PC as an early Christmas present to myself first... I don't know, I might just get both once I move but I have a feeling the Wii U would be neglected if I do.

Whatever. Already own an xbox and have no need for 480p resistive screen controller

I'm not interested. Maybe a few years down the line, once it gets a price drop and a solid library.

Hard to care when a the system has no advancements whatsoever. I don't spend money on things that rely on gimmicks to sell.silversix_

The major things i want now is Bravely Default on 3DS, Halo 4 on xbox 360 and Ni no Kuni, Dragons Crown (and hopefully Last Guardian) on PS3

And none of those are on WiiU, in fact WiiU game library makes me sleepy

I was replaying Witcher 2 on xbox 360 today, the game is so spectacular and 10 billion times more impressive than anything Nintendo has come up with since Zelda WW

I feel pretty damn indifferent to it at the moment. There's only 1 decent looking game in the whole launch lineup which is just pathetic. Muppets will no doubt be lined up to buy the latest and greatest nintenpad but it's going to take a lot more than ZombiU to get my interest high enough to buy a new console.

One thing's for sure Nintendo is doing a bad job marketing because I haven't seen one piece of advertisement for it yet. I'll get it eventually but probably not day one.

It's because they haven't started the Wii U marketing campaign yet.

They're being quiet for competitive reasons.

We basically know almost nothing about Wii U apart from a strong yet predictable launch window lineup. Well they did show TVii and a sneak peak of Miiverse.

Man I can't wait for the Wii U blowout. I hope there's a Nintendo Direct next week.

I guess we will have to wait for the system to release before we find videos on youtube of people doing full walkthroughs of all the system can do. Nintendo should take lessons from Microsoft and there win8 release, I was watching videos on that a year ago, knew everything there was to know about it before it came out, now thats what I call giving the customers enough info to make an informed decision.

Kinda interested. Not getting one day one but I will pick up the Black one when Pikmin 3 comes out. Selling my 360 slim after I finish Halo 4 and putting that money towards this. It will be my primary console until I see what Sony/MS give us and then buy one of their consoles as well. Probably going to go the PS4/Wii-U route next-gen.

Yea I agree with this. I'm guessing Nintendo wanted to wait until November to advertise the thing.
