How do you guys feel about independent developers for your system?

Which system do you think will cater more to the independent developer? Microsoft is the first one leading the charge it seems, but is it worth it? Nintendo and even Sony have considered it, but will it be better than Microsoft's?

So discuss independent developers, and how you feel about their games.

What would you guys like catared to you, if you wanted to casually develop games?

I wish they all would.

Im assuming you are referring to to things such as XNA.

Maybe im totally wrong in understanding what you are asking if your not.

For anyone interested in creating your own video games there are a lot of free developing tools out there these days and one I been using a lot latly is one from Multiverse which is a MMO based engine.
