How do you play a fps on a PC???
Riverwolf007
First you check to make sure that your PC can run it before going out and buying it. That answers all your complaints in that post.
[QUOTE="ThePlothole"][QUOTE="HAZE-Unit"]It is so easy, all you have to do is take the controller and play.

His point is that, yes, there is no queation that an analog stick is not even close to as accurate as a mouse. But again, the game makers compensate for this.
Does it mean players wouldn't be competitive against players who uses K&M? I don't think so.
I know it is much slower to aim with a controller, but you can adjust that in the option menu.
They would be at a disadvantage. Case-in-point:

It's not just speed. Sticks lack the responsiveness necessary to turn on a dime whilst simultaneously maintaining pin-point accuracy.
how do you do it??? seriously??? how do you play COD4, Halo 3, UT3 with an ANALOG STICK?????
or are you sane like us pc users and purchase a keyboard/mouse for your 360/ps3??

it's easy, you press the ON button, stick the disk in and shoot. no PC building, no graphics cards, no installation. also, you then wiggle the LEFT thumbstick in the directions you want to walk, and move the RIGHT thumbstick in the direction you want to look. surely it's not that hard to understand...? or do you want me to use pictures?
halo 3 is played correctly with a controller... its simple, game designers cater the game to the much higher rate of console vs pc gamers.. why do you think pin point accuracy of a mouse has anything to do with playing a first person shooter... do you think in real life people have that advantage when firing a weapon..

True, but that does not solve the problems 100% of the time and you know it. I have dl'd demos that played fine on my rig then bought the full game and it not run at all.All it takes is for one part of a game to not agree with one hardware or software element in your rig to keep the entire thing from running. I know because I have a great Pc and things still won't work properly every once in awhile.

Hmmm...So these people in COD4 who are killing me with 1-3 shots easily are using K&M? I hate them.
