Could this actually be the ticket for MS to enter the Japanese market? It is a very social experience...the dance game alone could really set it off in Japan. What do you think...any chance in hell MS could come out a winner in Japan?

I have a picture about Japan and Kinect but when I used it last time I was suspended so I will just say: no. seriously, how many 360-owning Japanese would care for social experience anyway.

it would have a better chance if xboxlive gold was free or at least20-30 a year. but japanese gamers rather buy a new ds each year then pay 50 bucks for xboxlive gold for a year.

"Studio" meaning...?

A typical Japanese room is 6 tatami mats in size, which is about 8.5 feet by 11.5 feet in total floor area.

they'll react to kinect as well as they already react to the 360: badly. "it's a very social experience"... how? "the dance game alone could really set it off in japan"... dance arcades, DDR, Just Dance (Wii) nope, nothing kinect has will appeal to the japanese. not enough to make microsoft less of a failure there.

They don't have the space available in their homes to play kinect. It's physically impossible for most families.

it wont be very popular. japan is a VERY densely populated country. Therefore, each japanese household is very small. There wont be room to play Kinect TAKE THAT MS! UP YOURS!

Japanese devs seems to be supporting Kinect well but how good it will do there dunno my crystal ball was stolen by some kids today when they raided the house because we didn't have any candy.

Seeing as to how the Japanes usually purchase consoles and such as I do, I think they will be smart enough to avoid the Kinect. Most of them that is ;).
