@aigis: Its alright, no need for Atlus to go crazy with budget on a Wii U game. They dont even do that for PS4 and its got a ton of sales.

Doesn't matter. By the time its all said and done, a Wii U collection will be crazy valuable. In the end, it will end up being sold at a high profit.
Way to be optimistic and for my sake I do hope you are correct but I think it will only be certain games that increase in value rather than the entire kaboodle.
The console itself will be in good supply for quite a while. 12 or 13 million makes for a decent amount of consoles and taking into effect the stock not selling as well as those trying to dump their consoles, I don't see this sky rocketing for a while if ever.

Just so I understand correctly, in a decade the Wii U and corresponding software will be able to provide you with a large net profit? I'm in agreement if you buy most things used and on the cheap but to see a profit over the price of a newly purchased console is expecting a lot. People will be trying to unload this console for many years to come with the hopes of recouping some of their investment.

Anyhoo, Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, Devil's Third, Star Fox Zero, Fatal Frame V, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, etc are all low budget, low resources, and low effort yet they somehow get to charge 50, sometimes 60, for these type of titles. These type of games would never retail for those prices on any other platform. Ori and the Blind Forest had more polish than some full priced Nintendo releases this gen, and that game retailed for only 20 dollars.
I mean Tokyo Mirage Sessions isnt even going to have english voice acting for fucks sake, yet i saw this game advertised for 60 dollars at gamestop the other day. 60 dollars.
Games like these ones would generally say for 15, 20 or 30 dollars on xbox live marketplace or psn store, how does nintendo continuously get away with releasing low budget titles for full price? and their games dont drop at all, ever. mario tennis ultra smash is still 50 dollars brand new, you're telling me that game is still in high demand 8 months later? No way.
And Overwatch has the nerve to sell for $60 on consoles.
Such is the new gen. FYI Ultra Smash on amazon is $40 and I've seen it as low as $30 on certain occasions.

Obviously the people have spoken with their wallets as to the quality of nintendo games. The hardware smdh even for console is horrible. The online platform is the worst. Shit they don't even have a hard drive. The graphics are again bad. Story or voice acting ???

Now the NX is launching in 2017 and it's not during the holiday season wtf is nintendo smoking. Marketing huh what marketing nobody has any NX game video or even solid intel.
Nintendo isn't the first, nor last publisher to think some of their shitty games should be valued more than they really should. They do a lot of shitty things, but pricing, eh, yeah they are terrible, but no worse than a shit load of other developers and publishers.
If TMS or whatever it is, actually had the gameplay for it, yeah I'd get over the pricing, because I give more of a **** if the game is good. Some of their other shit like say Captain Toad, and that's at a "budget" price, isn't even worth it at 40. It's fucking pathetic as a puzzle game, especially in comparison to The Witness and Stephen's Sausage Roll. Neither game, especially the latter would stack up favorably from a production value, but gameplay, it makes what Toad look like child's play. And gameplay is supposed to be the thing Nintendo sells me on.

I don't fully understand it either, they make Mario platformer games which are obliviously a lot less complicated to make than most games for example ratchet and clank but sell it full price. Baffles me.

Also, be careful of the "Nintendo games are only praised because it's Nintendo" bullshit. Nevermind that they (especially recently) have HAD panned games and were PANNED when they get games exclusive to their console (No, I have not forgotten Bayonetta 2's reveal and that 10/10 did **** all).
