i think w shall see whos year it has been... at the end of the year! looks pretty much even from where im sitting. who knows, microsoft might pull a couple of exclusives (or du-plats) out of the bag like they did with bioshock. it certainly won't be 'the year of the ps3' in terms of games, cows should think before they hype a whole freakin year!

PS3 has MGS4, R2, LBP, Socom (HUGE following)

360 has GeOW2,, and thats about it. NGS was a huge flop on ps3 (sales wise), so you cant really hail NG2 for 360 when it was pretty obvious PS3 owners dont even really care about the game.

2008 is the year of the multiplats,,, GTA4, Fallout 3, RE5 (possibly) will likely be the biggest games of the year along with GeOW2 and MGS4,, so yay for everybody.

No PGR5 definitely, as Bizzare has moved on from PGR series.

BioShock 2 and Mass Effect 2 maybe multiplat, by the way,

MS said they'd be carrying on the series with a different dev. Now i think about it maybe that's what turn 10 could be developing at the moment. :o

Well most of those titles are inevitable, why would they make a Sequel to a prequel of a sequel? IE Perfect Dark Zero being a prequel, what would perfect dark zero 2 entitle? Joanna's school life? do her homework for her? Maybe you do missions around her junior high, like sneak into the teachers desk for test answers, maybe miss your homework and figure out, you should plant a proxy mine under the teachers chair so you can get out of getting a 0.

I hate when ppl just put a number at the end of a series and act like its a for sure game in X year.

Why would the fact that people downplayed KZ2 in the past soften the blow that the PS3 fans have endured by the delay? By your logic you could also state that it's in fact a crippling blow because of a large number of individuals on this forum have hyped this game beyond Halo 3 levels.
