It's true, having every system is isn't that much fun unless you can truly afford it. I found that having a Ps3 and a decent PC lets me play most good exclusives, and I only miss out on a few. I got a 360 anyway though :D
I said which BIG games would you miss out? The point I'm trying to make is that the PS3 + PC gives you more quality than a Xbox 360 + PC. But, for those who value playing on Xbox Live with friends, it's understandable that they'd want the 360 + PC combination. again you did not understand, PS3 + PC or 360+PC, which given out better quality is fully base on the user opinions. And you ask me which BIG games I would be missing out on the systems i own right? So I answered "look at my gamertag right now, 4 of those are not on the pc." Those to me are some of the BIG GAMES that i would be missing out if i don't have a 360 and owning only a pc. 1) I don't want to and shouldn't have to bother looking up your gamer tag. You could just list the games... 2) I think that you're bias on this since you'd obviously enjoy the 360 more than the PS3 exclusives, but it's crystal clear that the many of the 360's BEST GAMES overlap and with the PC counterpart (THIS IS FACT) and the PC counterpart is usually the best version and controls the best (and I'm not talking about for everyone, but for those who are use to playing a lot of PC games). Because of this you lose more high quality games getting a 360 + PC combo over a PS3 + PC combo. Unless you absolutely hate all PS3 exclusive games (and if you've been gaming since SNES days and have played all the consoles, then you'll find that this is impossible), then the PS3 + PC combination is the best.[QUOTE="EwwFanboys"][QUOTE="OPuniverse"] umm i own a 360/pc. You can look at my gamertag right now, 4 of those are not on the pc.OPuniverse
Well I have 2 PS3's and a WII. I rarely ever play the WII and I'm thinking of selling it. I'm not really too interested in the games. While the XBOX seems to have good games I only have limited time and I don't think getting another system will help that. I barely get a chance to play my PS3 games as is which I do love. Now I will make sure to make time for uncharted 2 when it comes out since I loved the first. I also play PS2 games on my PS3 since I didn't own that system last gen and I'm just catching up on those classics. I would believe owning 3 would only benefit gamers who have a lot time on their hand to do just that.
That made me laugh hard.:lol:PS3 isn't about friends, it's about discipline.

Anyways, how can anyone have only a Wii?:P But in all seriousness, it's all about the games you want to play basically. I want to play the 360, Wii and PS3 exclusives so I simply just get them.

1. dude my gamertag is in the sig, it's right there, like right at where ur staring at.
2. I've been gaming since the SNES
3. Again with the assumption, assumming I hate the ps3. There are games that i want but they are not out yet, that is out im not rushing out to buy the console yet.
4. again and again COMBINATION is entire subjective
5. welcome back mD-

Its actually NOT fun I own all 3 systems and quite frankly the Wii sits there never getting played, the ps3 gets played occasionally and my 360 gets played the most...though right now that i found ragnarok online has a free server thats getting more play time.
Oh and im replaying tales of symphonia on gamecube.EwwFanboys
Lol, is it one of those free private ragnarok servers? I think I put more playing time into this game than any other game (it was on one of the best free private servers called qRO, which had like 2000 players total). Those were such great times and the server never lagged unless it was Emporium Wars. I believe the drop/exp rates for that one was 5/5/3. But, if I were you I wouldn't play MMROPGs like that because they take up too much time. That's the reason I had to stop.
nah its Valkrye the free official server.Owning all systems is pricey, but its worth it if you have time to play the games. I really don't have the time to play the games, but still will have all 3 because I'm a freak like that.
Nah, I dunno. I've been considering buying a PS3 but I end up only playing multiplatforms on the 360, so it makes me wonder if after I buy the PS3 it will be any different. I just don't have that much time neither patience anymore to play so many games :(
I play a lot of COD:WAW I'm at about 18days played online and have like 38,000 kills and get into competions with my friends, and If I owned all the systems and played those games too I would be missing out on my COD time. I kinda have a cycle Madden comes out in August play it like crazy 'til November, get the new COD, play it like crazy 'til something else comes out that intrest me or until the next Madden comes out. I throw in a few GH games here and there and some arcade games. I might get into Halo:ODST cause I hear the MP will be a combination of Halo/COD type gameplay. Still waiting on a Gears prequal to be announced.
I just don't have the time I'm married got 2 kids, the only way I can really get into playing SP games again is if I get a small screen for my 360 like I had for my PS2 slim(one of those 9 inch things) and took it to work.
Different systems give different experiences.Ok I don't get it, maybe it's just me but how do people own all 3 systems and get their moneys worth out of them.
I have a 360 and a Wii and the Wii never gets played anymore and has basically been a waste of $250
I've come to the conclusion that I'll never get a PS3 because of my 360. I have about 20 friends online that I know and play with all the time. I find myself playing a game and see they are on playing something else and I go join them because it is more fun to play with them. So if I got a PS3 I'd be wondering what my friends are doingand I know I'd go back to the 360cause that is were my friends are at.
I guess I'm just not gamer enough anymore cause I don't play single player games anymore, cause I get bored and want to play with my friends.
xxyetixx
i owe all 3 systems. I pla the ps3 more since i got more games, i play the 360 little since nothing is out for it yet wii depends on the mood and games
It is fun because you don't have to miss out on any games. If you only had a ps3 and or 360 but no Wii and was looking forward to Monster Hunter 3 for ps3,you would have had your hopes crushed. But if you had a Wii then you still don't have to miss out on anything. You can mix and match the consoles and games with that sentence.
Money has never been an issue for me, its just that, I'm very busy nowadays, so there is little to no time for me to game.
I only own a PS3 and I cant even keep up with the games, how much more owning a Wii and 360 in addition to that.
I am very satisfied with owning only one console.
but eventually, I will get all consoles, just for the eff of it.
ever thought of making friends online?? :? Play your favorite game and I'm sure you'll meet tons of other gamers.
I guess it all depends on the person. Personally, as others have said, it's not really a money factor for me. I like knowing that if a game comes out that I'm interested in, I can play it. For example, I just bought WSR and will get Batman:AA (PS3), FF:D, and Professor Layton soon (sorry don't really have a 360 game on my radar right now) True, I have a pretty big backlog, but I have lots of options when I choose to plop a game in.
Everything I own has been worth it or will be:
Wii was worth it for SMG and will be for Metroid Other M, SMG 2, and a new Zelda
PS3 was worth it for Uncharted, MGS4, Bluray, and will be for GoW3, GT5, The Last Guardian
Xbox360 since LAUNCH DAY, very high fun/price ratio, was worth it for Gears, Halo 3, all the multiplats, and will be for Halo Reach and Alan Wake
PC Rig was worth it for Crysis, TF2, and will be for Diablo 3, Crysis 2, Rage, etc
So yea, its worth it to own all of them. I dont like to miss out on good games and owning everything assures that.
