More people? Well that will change as more people buy a PS3, just a matter of time.

Download tv? What you can watch regular cable/sat tv? (I know 360 users throw the argument of surfing the web on ur PS3 is stupid.) But at least a pc isn't in every room in the house, but a tv to watch tv probably is. Surfing web > watching tv.

Speaking to Geoff Keighley on the latest edition of Gametrailers' Bonus Round, Lempel said that there was little to differentiate Xbox Live and PSN offerings to consumers bar the price. However, Lempel indicated that as the service grows, PSN may not always be available for free.

Everything listed above.Xbox Live is Unified which means you can find friends just like that. You have a unified friends list. With the PSN, if you're in a game and your friend is playing another game, you won't be able to message him or even invite him to your game. Also every 360 comes with a headset microphones the PS3 doesn't. Xbox Live just feels more of a gaming community than PSN. There's more interaction between players, which mean more competition, more strategic, more fun unlike on the PSN where it feels like you're playing with bots with funny names because noone is talking.
This is the reason Why we pay :
in 2 years , on PSN , There will be no more RFOM Online , no More MGS4 online , no more Warhawk (online game) ,no more KZ2 ( online ), no more Haze ( online ) , NO more Multiplats game online , no more anything that get released this year , or earlier , on PS3 .
In 2 years , on Xbox live , I will still be able to play Halo 2 , Conqer , Forza 1 ,Forza 2 , Halo 3 , Gears of war , Lost planet , Shadowrun ( The game got low rating , but it's awsome :P ) , every Single Multiplats/Exclusive games , since Xbox 1, will still be playable online .
because u pay for it? what are your reasons to justify throwing money down the drainl1mIt
No idea why people make posts like these, theres no possible way of a fanboy of any console to easily accept that something is worse of better. This is just flame bait.

My friend ps3 lags.
More people will buy a 360 too. ps3 will never catch up to the360 keeps out selling 2:1 (dumb argument)
we have like over 50 arcade games. How many does ps3 have. Don't give me argument that the x360 has been out longer. i'm just justifing what i pay for. You get what you pay for.
I don't downoad t.v. shows. but its a nice feature. If I wanted to download a real world from three years ago, i could. So don't give me that crap that you can watch t.v. on cable. So your argument is stupied.

HE SAYS HOW DOES IT HAVE BETTER ONLINE ( in which ways ) is it better
Maybe one of you Sony fanboys can answer me this.
I hear with the downloadable games for PSN, you can't even download a free demo to know if you'd like it or not.
Is that true?
For a second there I thought this guy really wanted to get some straight factual answers but I quickly realize it's just another hard headed cow who has nothing better to do than wait. This is waiting.

You say HIS post failed when yours is so blatantly pathetic it's sad.
1) No lag is impossible. I can think of ten instances where I saw lag in a RFOM match
2) You're going to have to wait a LOOOOONG time for the amount of people on PSN to even get close to the amount of XBL users at the rate things are going. But hey, you're used to waiting, right?
3) Yeah, the PSN has arcade games...not nearly as many as XBL, but it STILL has them. Same goes for demos, videos, etc.
4) If you can use that 'but but teh TV is bettur!!1' drivel, why can't I use the 'PC surfing is better' rebuttal? Scared it'll render your reason moot?

HE SAYS HOW DOES IT HAVE BETTER ONLINE ( in which ways ) is it better
Plenty of people disagree as to whether online gaming with the PS3 is lag free, so we'll just ignore that as a reason Xbox Live is better (to avoid starting another fanboy flame war). Xbox Live is better because its unified structure allows compatibility with all games across the board, and to the same capacity. Meaning, all games run through the same network the same way. This makes Live extremely easy and effective to use, and it avoids making developers waste money and time on coming up with their own network. With said time and money saved, the devs don't have to worry about whether or not to put the game online (something which has plagued PS3 games); they just work on what exactly they want to do online.
Also, while Live Marketplace isn't necessarily the biggest reason to pay for Xbox Live, it certainly doesn't hurt. The fact that the service is so well supported by TV and movie studios, means that you have options. Do you want to rent a movie from XBL? Cool, go for it. You don't want to? That's fine too, but you'll always have the option. Demos and other content download quickly, and thanks to Microsoft's mandate that all games must function with XBL, you can be sure that most of the games you buy can either be played online, or will feature future upgrades that you can get off of XBL. Sure it's not free like mods for the PC are, but you're always sure of what content you're getting, and you'll always be sure there will be more content in the future.
Xbox Live (gold)is a premium service; This doesn't mean it's a million times better than PSN, but what it means is that since you've paid money for it, Microsoft hasa vested interest in making sure it runs as well and efficiently as possible. So far they've been keeping up on their end of the bargain, and I feel justified in spending my $50 for 13 months.

ahh no your wrong
So what you're saying is I can download a free demo of Calling All Cars and Super Rub-A-Dub, and if I like what I played, I can "Unlock the Full Game" by paying for it and it's unlocked automatically, right?

again QFT. Unified friends lists are a huge plus. Also cross game chat, etc. XBL owns and I could care less about paying $50 a year for it.I see the Sony fanboys are ignoring the article where the PSN rep said that over time PSN may not be free.
I wonder why?

they are thinking of ways they can damage control
I love how even the guy at Sony in charge of PSN happily admitted that xbox live was a better feature filled service, but sony were going for a different approach with the free service; yet cows are still adament that PSN is just as good.
Face it guys; Live is better. He even said that a few years down the line if PSN evolves into something more like xbox live they'll consider charging.
You can send messages to people playing games and they will see them. But until its updated, you have to leave the game to read it. But things like this, I'm sure will be fixed over time.caseypayne69

It's hilarious watching cows struggle with admitting a PAID SERVICE is superior to a FREE SERVICE.
