How many actual next gen only games do you own?

Not including remakes, obviously. Actual next gen games. Of the ones you bought, which ones were actually worth it?

I just realized that the only one I own is Shadow of Mordor and the only one I want to buy so far is Dragon Age.

There are more coming out eventually (Witcher 3, Bloodborne and many others) but right now the pickings look pretty slim.

I don't game in next gen. I am strictly first gen.

None, cause XB2,PS5, & the next Nintendo console aren't out yet. :P

I own 0 next gen games, I'd be surprised if anyone owns any at all considering next gen is a possibly nearly a decade away.

It's great for helping to prevent spam and troll posts. While you are obviously doing neither in this thread, it'll still probably be locked, unfortunately.

Quite a few, actually. Most of them are on Wii U, though.

Why? Isn't the point of System Wars to debate which if any, of the console is best and is worth a buy? What better reason is there than the games, or lack thereof? Shouldn't the games be THE reason to buy a console?

It can't be too effective if I am able to make a post without having 500 posts. Doesn't seem like there is anything to prevent a troll from doing the same thing.

Depends on the users needs, I use a PC for games because regardless of generation PC has more in terms of quality and quantity. Last few years I've used my consoles as a blu ray player and a netflix machine for the living room.

Mods make the decision to lock the thread.

I own dying light, wolfenstein the new order and elite dangerous which are pretty good games

I also own dayz, which imo is next gen as well, since a ps4 would already struggle to run it at max detail settings 30 fps and 1080p

Apart from that, there's not much to do in this so called next gen

It doesn't help that 2013 was pretty loaded. A lot of the big studios are still working on their first "next gen" game.

loaded with what? gta V maybe, but that's about it. A lot of people waited even for the next gen version.

Not sure, but as far as consoles go, mainly just a bunch of WiiU games. I only own one PS4 game and it's a cross-gen title.

on consoles? only Destiny and the only reason i kept it is to throw it in the river this Spring. i don't want anyone to experience what i experienced in that game.

Well, assuming cross-gen games don't count, and that Wii U games don't count, Infamous Second Son/First Light is probably my only nextcurrent-gen game.

It was a major year for releases, man. Pretty much every major studio released something.

I have quite a few wiiu games, but not that many ps4 games.

I don't actually play videogames all that much, but I enjoy them when there is time. I get slightly aggravated at the Nintendo thing--where games get difficult to track down sooner rather than later.

If we count 3DS I've got a ton of games for that....and going back to the Nintendo production thing; I bought Starfox3D at launch but that game got hard to find, fast.

Last thing. As I said I don't have too much time for games there are a lot of titles from last gen I never got around to, so I occasionally look up the libraries to remind me what I've missed. I always forget to do this before things get expensive. Last game I bought for ps3 was MGS:Revengeance for $7. I have a number of PS3 games I haven't even unsealed yet--Catherine, Max Payne, some I don't even remember the names of. Generally if I see a decently priced game and it looks interesting I'll pick it up. Cheapest way to buy on game consoles. People should learn how to use Amazon to its fullest.

Sadly, most of the games listed here aren't' truly "next-gen" games. Lots of cross-gen shit.

Though The Order and Driveclub are next-gen, Uncharted 4 is going to be the first good one.

Whats messed up is with all those ps4 games my vita and ps3 are getting more love.

Just got NGsigma 2, sword art online, atelier rorona plus, tales of hearts r all for vita.

For ps3 I picked up Tales of Xillia , tales of Xillia 2, tales of symphonia chronicles and want to get Graces F.

I just played tales for the first time on the 3ds with Tales of the Abyss and loved it! I have so many games to play which has left me not playing next gen at all.

Right now I am sinking my teeth into xilla. Love it. will play symphonia next.

Why do new consoles never have jrpgs for 2+ years?
