How many Copies will Halo 3 sell?

Bungie gets the Christmas bonus of "back to work!" - but on the upside they will probably get to wear antlers and those sweaters that light up with pictures of Santa.

Not also, Ensemble ARE the ones making it. Bungie just gave them all of their art assets and the halo story bible and that's it. They have no part in the development at all. After Halo 3, they're making a new game.

It depends on it's reception and what it's known as.

If it's known as "the true succesor" then around 7 million.

If it's known as "over-hype/flop" then around 3 million.

If it's "more of the same" then around 4 million 

If it's "just for the fans" then around 5 million

Most people were burned by the utter craptasticness of the second one coming from the awesomeness of the first (just like MGS), and thus they'll be sceptical to buy the third, even if it is alot better (just like MGS).

Yeah I know it got perfect 10 from many sites and was the highest rated game of the year overall. Great point.
