how many of you agree that brawl and galaxy are the best games of the generation

They are certainly great games, but I wouldn't say that. Super Mario Galaxy is in the TOP 10 for sure though.

SSBB would be in the Top 25 this gen for me.

No,im sure there are so much better Games than those 2 "Mario" games

like Bioshock,GTA4,gears2,MGS4 or LBP.

Yeah, after playing more than ONE system, and saying that, it's more a fair assessment. They are great games, but I hate when a type of fanboy says, "This games the BEST EVER" without having played anything like it on other platforms. It's a lot more respected when they have played other platforms, and then claim what the best is.

Galaxy for sure. Brawl...eh, no. Then again, I'm not a smash fan.

There are other wii games that IMO deserve more credit, like boom blox or world of goo.

oh woops last time I checked it was the second highest rated I guess the PS3 version got a few more reviews.

Yeah but aren't they the same game on each system? Wouldn't it make more sense to average out the 2 scores for GTA which is less than SMG's score.

I dont think he wasn trying to say it was the top, but clearly dismissing the guy from saying its wasn't within the 50 range.

I didnt play none of them yet but im sure Mario Galaxy is one of the best games this gen!!!

not brawl no. good game but not staggeringly brilliant.

galaxy would probably be my fav game of this gen so far though. i was expecting quite a bit of crazy out of it after the "normal" mario sunshine....and i still got surprised. the game is nothing short of stunning imho.

There have been three 3D mario platformers and SSB games. Therefore GTA4 (the 6th 3D GTA game), MGS4, and CoD4 are all even bigger rehashes.

No, i found them both seriously lacking in many aspects..Brawls online was horribly Broken and you dont win game of the gen with a broken online system, and SMG (IMO) was a little too repetitive, it got boring after awhile.

Galaxy - one of the best games this gen agreed

Brawl - very much disagree..was looking forward to this game for so long but was so disappointed in the end product..its still great fun with friends but the single player is woeful

Don't like either of them. At all.

Brawl was fun for maybe ... 12 minutes, and Galazy was too like Mario 64, and not enough like Banjo 1 (Not that i was expecting it to be, but yeah ...)
