Actually noone will care.
Then name one game that is actually like that?
GTA San andreas comes close. It's just not middle america

That is already taking place IRL by the US army.

The reason people think there is more racism is that most people try to avoid it. Thats why people flip over stuff like this. It's in Africa for a reason, Chris has been in two other RE games.
People in America are afraid of their own shadow. I wrote a 10 page paper on why we should as a wholeconfront Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to get them to stop race baiting. They will have their say on this game soon....mark my words. Forget that the Japanese are making this game. They will tie it to an idea by a white man and demand it be cancelled.
Wow if RE5 gets cancel because of that, it'll be a damn shame.... :(
Why is everyone going Ape over this?
Did anyone see american History X....? This is nothing compared to that.
That movie is pure ownage.
Taken out of Context that movie could be contructed as a Racist Film. (Same thing with RE5)
But as a whole it bears to the viewer a Powerful anti-Racism Message.
No one ever looks at anything that way. Most black people I know think that American History X is racist and none of them have seen it, they went on word of mouth alone. My best friend who happens to be black is with me and thinks it's a great movie. AMX is one of those movies that feels like you get punched in the face with reality.
 at Insecure Sensitive Blithering Idiots who think RE5 is "racism."
Seriously, RE4 had infected Spaniards as Zombies......NO Spaniard or any European complained, b*tched, moaned or labeled RE4 as being racist. Same goes with NO White People complained about All the RE series having White people as zombies.
To me its just a bunch of touchy opinionated White liberals (and many touchy African Americans) trying to stir up controversy.
All I can say is: STFU and GET OVER IT! ;)

Why do we live in a world where when we see a trailer for Resident Evil 5, and right away think its racist?
I mean seriously when you first see the trailer you should be thinking, Oh my god that looks amazing...
well good thing in bizarro world white people only kill white people and black people only kill black people...
I bet Capcom is hard at work making a senario
where you have to protect a un infected young BLACK mother and her BLACK Child, :)
From BLACK Infected Zombies.
Huh Huh Huh !! :D
How is that for Racism? not that much huh... huh?

[QUOTE="ProductofChina"]Killing black people is totally racist, I mean its a white guy killing a bunch of black people. How racist is that! What has those years o anti-slavery changed? Nothing! This is racist! it would be okay if it were black people killing white people in the game though because white people were never slaves. You cannot be racist to white people.Legendaryscmt

J-REAL
Yeah right! Either you are blind or have been hiding in a cave in the last 400 years lol!
Is the game Racist? I dont know im not the creator and none of us know why the creator made this game and the past RE games. The truth is it doesnt matter if it does not offend you but if it offends a large population than there will be a problem. Im a "gamer" and when I saw the trailer the first thing that came to my mind was bad a$$ graphic and the second was this will be a problem in the black commuity. Trust me this game will bring millions of people to go agaisnt this game not just blacks but other races. Its not the "game" as the story its the graphics it looks to real. What I never understood in the RE games is the zombies never attack each other. I mean in RE4 that was just chilling till some idiot comes along. And this will be the same thing. The "black zombies" will be chilling not killing each other or eating each other but chilling till some idiot comes along with guns.
Why would the parasite kill itself? That makes less sense than the zombies chilling with each other. In RE4, the parasite (chagas, or something) was kind of portrayed as being a single being, almost. Some mystic, ancient, powerful parasite that has a will of its own and a sense of community.

Racism in the white community still exists, though it has immensly diminished over the years. MLK Jr, would shed a tear if he saw the extent to which racism in the white community has fallen. But racism is different now. It is just as common. It occurs in the under-educated rural and strong city ("ghetto") areas. In those places are people born into blind rage, the ideas that other races are out to get them, and this time, it's not just white people. People of all races are against each other in these types of areas. organic_machine

Most certainly not. In fact, until the claims of racism, the race of the Zombies ( Even though Zombie is thier actual race at infected point ) didn't even cross my mind.
I had heard that the possible location for this game is Haiti.. if that is the case then let me quote you this.
'Enslavement, harsh treatment of the natives, and especially epidemic diseases such as smallpox caused the Taino population to plummet over the next quarter-century. In response, the Spanish began to import African slaves to search for gold on the island. Spanish interest in Hispaniola waned after the 1520s, when vast reserves of gold and silver were discovered in Mexico and South America.'
Now if the protagonist is American, where is the common link with the people of Haiti? On face value sure, but then that is ignorant of the facts.
It would be a smart move by Capcom to counter-act any claims of racism. I can also guarantee you there will be either a Black character or White infected zombies featured in the game.
If you look closely you will notice that not all the zombies are of Black skin colour. From my observation, although it may have been a bad quality video, there appears to be some of Olive skin colour indicating latin-american origin.
jezus christ, stop these stupid topics:
1. it's a location!!!
2. Black people can't be zombies???> so, only white people can >> THAT's RACIST

I remember seeing that movie in school when I was twelve and man did that movie show me something about the world and man kind as a species.Don't think its racist at all, but I seen the trailer and the Zombies don't look like zombies, so to a non gamer it kinda looks like a white guy killing crazy black people.Silky-Johnson
And you know, if im not mistaken, the director or producer of the game said that they are not quite Zombies and not quite the illiminadi or whatever of RE4...if they are given too human characteristics then it will make things far worst than they are now

If this game existed during th time where anti-black racism still was commonly accepted, he would be against the game. BUT, there is a certain degree of ignorace required to believe this game is racist. that degree of ignorance is something I do not believe MLK had. MLK DID NOT preach the uprising in black power. no, he preached equality and peace among all races.

There's a lot more asian and white game developers compared to black developers, so even if they were to make a black lead character they would be afraid of stereotyping because well, they aren't black.
Stuff like

is getting out of hand. What about all those games were u kill only white people. I swear I can't stand the race card black people throw at work, and now in games.
omg i am hispanic of spanish decent and i was in no way offended by re4 at all...the thought never even crossed my mind until that stupid article on re5. for crying out loud RE4 is in my top 10 favorite games of all time! shame on the people/person who view this as some kind of racist issue. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!! :xRage010101What were the people saying? I bet they swore alot...
I voted yes.
Black people should never be portrayed as antagonists in a game. Pariah_001
But it's ok for whites to be? Oh noes the blacks were slaves once apon a time, well guess what, whites were also slaves once apon a time.
And what about the rubbish going on in Africa, you know, where the black governments are murdering white farmers for the hell of it.
So black people cannot be Zombies? And only White people can be antagonists?? Great anti-racism :roll:I voted yes.
Black people should never be portrayed as antagonists in a game. Pariah_001
Q: Any drop of blood into infected area can cause contamination. This relates to racism because of the HIV/AIDs problem in African.
A: Lets see, any drop of blood, scrape, etc, etc, isn't that for all zombie movies/games?
Q: A white man killing black people.
A: Yeah, he's white, but then again, what do you expect to be killing in Africa, the Chinese?
Q: Black people shown before the infection appear to be rendered as if they already have the infection.
A: Whether you're African, Japanese, Russian, American, German, etc, etc, you know that all races have ugly people to them, and just because you put it in a game doesn't mean you're trying to spread racism.
The whole thing of racism on RE5 is a crock. As far as I saw, why didn't they go up in arms about RE4? I mean, after all, you are white, and you are killing the Spanish.
Legendaryscmt
They're not attempting to be racist, no, but it's totally reasonable that somebody would look at the game and say...."Holy, f'ing s***. THIS GAME IS SO RACIST! THE HUMANITY!"
It totally looks that way, is all I'm saying. I said No in the poll btw.
I voted yes.

So Blacks to have an equal role in Zombication.
If white people can be zombies it is only right that Black people can be zombies as well.
