I've got a 360 but will definitely not be getting and X1, unless MS seriously change thier direction. My 360 has never been online and I have no intentions of ever using it for online gaming, nor will I pay MS extra money for the privilage should I decide to. So having a console that demands to be attached to internet at least once a day is a no go, even more so when my 360 goes for months without being used.
I know coming from a PC gamer and saying I don't want an always online console is just a little hypocritical. In my case though I don't want a console for online gaming, so have no use for online connectivity.
On a side note it's unlikely that I'll get a PS4 either, maybe eventually when there are enough exclusives games and the price of them have come down there may be justification for me to get one.
Been a 360/PS3 gamer for the entirety of this generation and probably won't be getting either PS4 or XBOXone.Â
At this point, WiiU sounds more appealing from a consumer friendly pov.Â

I'm not getting an Xbox One, but I'm not getting a PS4 either. Â Yes, I had a 360, but I recently sold it and got Steam wallet currencty for it at gamestop lol. Â Still have my ps3. Â Next gen will be the first gen I don't buy any console. Â Always been mainly a pc gamer since probably early 90's, but this will be the first time I'm strictly PC for next gen of consoles.

Wait, you can trade your Xbox 360 for Steam Wallte currency??
Â
Gamestop sells Steam Wallet, which is basically credit that goes into your steam account. Â My 360 was a launch 360, and I must have been one of the last remaining owners of a launch 360. Â I havnt turned it on in years, but I tested it out before trade in, unforunately, everything worked ok except the disc tray refused to open like 90% of the time, and also my controller wouldnt work. Â They still let me trade it for what I thought was a good amount for a defective console. Â 360 really is such a pos of a console hardware wise.

[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]^^^ that's an absolute lie, this guy has always been for Xbox and heavily anti-Sony.
Bigboi500
really?
Are you even going to deny it?idk because there is not enough info to go on.I'm starting this thread out of curiosity.. I am just wanting to see how many people out their in SW land supported Microsoft with either the Xbox or 360 but do not plan on buying the X1.
If anybody is not going to buy the Xbox One is it because you are liking other news better, will not put up with the policies, are a fanboy of another console, PC gamer, another reason?
Personally I would like to eventually buy the X1, but Microsoft is going to have to change (or at least bend a little) some of their policies.
If you are going to buy the X1, is it more because you think it will have better games, your a fanboy, because you think the policies they are using are actually for the better, or for a different reason?
I know some people will either buy the PS4 or X1 simply because they couldn't stand the thought of supporting or switching to te enemy faction... lol

currently the plan is to build a new pc this fall or buy the steambox if it is open platform and buy both consoles in 2 or 3 years when the libraries fill out.
if there is some ground shaking reveal at e3 that plan could change but i doubt it.
I bought one.. i dont regret it for a few games i bought many years ago like Dead Rising and... well i would say Mass Effect and Bioshock but they lost that too lol.
Anyway no way in hell im buying the X1, that thing is beyond horrible.
At this point I see myself more on the Playstation side. We'll see after E3.
I won't be getting anything on launch btw. I will be waiting for a nice deal down the read. Â
Count me as one. I'll still argue to my grave that the 360 was a far superior system with a better dev architecture compared to the PS3.
Â
But I can read in-depth spec comparisons without bias and be honest to myself which has the better hardware this Gen. The used game bs was just the last nudge for me. Going to be SO weird holding a Sony controller again. Haven't done so in 11 years.
