How many PS2s did you go through?

I had one PS2, and then I got the infamous disc read error. So I had to buy another one. Now I use the old playstation for DVDs (since they aren't blue bottom) and the new one for PS2 games.How many did you go through?

One. I've had the fat model AND the exact same controller for four years, no problems. I never bought another controller either.

God... I hate the DRE problem... so frustrating. Luckily, it started right around when my warranty finished. So I was able to partially fix it myself.

My slim still has yet to have a single problem. Best 189.99 CAD I have spent on a console yet.

I bought mine a year after launch and it still works. Except I can't watch dvd's on it anymore but it plays all games fine.
